The two blind auditions we've seen so far, all coaches are wearing the same clothes. And a preview for next week showed them in the same clothes too.

Why is that?
Were the auditions all filmed in one day??

Can someone explain please.

they were filmed over 8 sessions over a 4 day period, yet the coaches will be in the same clothing throughout, I dont know why, its something they do on the US one aswell
it will be the same case for the battle rounds even though those were filmed over 2 days

Same happens on Dragon's Den. It's to reduce the distraction.

On X Factor they don't bother because the fashion show by the girls is part of the appeal.

Well I wish they would change their outfit as that shirt Jessie has on remind me of something my gran would have had on.

I would imagine it gives them a freer hand with the editing. A singer who got picked on the last audition could end up appearing on the first weeks show, and nobody would be any the wiser.

I don't know about the 2nd season, but the 1st season of the US Voice had the auditions done over 2 days, I believe. With the same set of clothes. (Since season 2 had a lot more auditions I suspect it was longer this time).

There's every reason to think the UK Voice did the exact same thing.

Yes, in fact. Its why I was quite shocked they inserted that bit where Tom blabbed about it being his 6th pick. Even so, I think that bit was inserted into the editing after they aired 6 of his picks. It doesn't mean the six we saw were the first six he actually picked, or that we saw them in order, or that the order or number of picks we saw from the other judges was even close to the actual filming order.
