Want to send a video clip from Nokia 800
....but can't seem to be able to do it.
Select camera Roll and then press video clip I want to send. Press the three little dots in bottom RH screen which brings up the share option which I select. The only thing it shows is Sky Drive, there is no option there for message or e-mail sharing. Please, can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? |

Press video clip you want to send
Press the three dots. You should have three options: 1) share... 2) share on skydrive (mine says share on facebook as I changed my quickshare option from skydrive to facebook) 3) delete Click on the first option: share... This gives me the option to share via email, facebook and skydrive. MMS doesn't support sending videos but if your friend uses whatsapp, you can send videos using that too. |

Is the video clip maybe way too big and the phone is stopping you .... Certainly not having the problem here. The share email option is there fine on my 710.

Dunno, I don't even get the option to share by e-mail or text message. Think a trip to the O2 is in order.

When I tried it, the phone automatically compresses the video to reduce file size. This is very strange indeed. Have you set up any email accounts on the phone? You need to have done this for it to work.
Sending things by MMS is only for pictures and audio, not video afaik. What version of the software are you on? Maybe a hard reset will sort it out. |
