Daughter has a Sony S1 tablet and would like to use a stylus rather than her finger.

Would the ones I see advertised for iPads be OK?

Any recommendations?

I had a bit of a rummage on the net, and the one that stood out as being about the best was one by Bamboo:

Bamboo stylus

I've only just got one, so don't know how likely it is to fall apart though - although it won't be getting used all the time. I think it might be the nature of the tips for capacitive touch screens - the stylus' use a rubber tip which is softer than traditional a traditional stylus.

Surely these would be more than suitable...

A £1 wasted though if it's rubbish...which it is as I have used one from PoundLand...the Wacom one should be pretty good.

I use the Trent Limir offering on my iPad. It works very well and even has a 'real' pen inside it... Geek perfection almost

...and pretty cheap at the moment.

I've got the griffin stylus. Just remember that writing with a stylus still isn't like using pen and paper since resting your palm on the screen will cause the tablet some confusion. (and the pound land ones are only good for prodding the on-screen buttons for typing).
