I said I wouldn't reply again but really how did you contact me about getting on to loys if you couldn't find me on facebook *and my name does stick out, why not message me here it is all the same

again sorry everyone this has gone way to far and is so, unfair to you all
Are you reading posts correctly? I said I was going to make a post in Loys and ask for you as dididi from DS to contact me on FB in the group then I found the Loys admin doing the cull and NO Loys Forever.I had lost contact. If my membership has not been terminated then I could contact you even here on pm on DS as a member of Loys and discuss this.As a non member contacting you on DS is gossip behind the backs of Loys Forever,John James and his fans.I could as well become an egg on twitter. My loyalty to Loys Forever ceases as soon as my membership ends.I dont have to follow any of their rules. If you took part in the cull as an administrator you should have known better.I dont even qualify for the cull, officially it is for 'non posters' and the reason all this has happened is because I posted. Why was I then culled within hours of an incident? Was it a coincidence? If I left the group voluntarily and then slagged it off without speaking to you that is a different matter. If you were not around at the time of the incident and did not take part in the cull, why then is this affecting you so much? You cant be a bully if you didnt participate in any of this. This is not personal to you.

BOOK GROUP DISCUSSION

I have been told that some people found Bletchley Park very dense and difficult. Well, non-fiction usually is but then again it may have been a bad choice for the first title although people who responded on the thread and to me by PM wanted to read it first.

Been thinking about this and think that as we have two threadlings moving and others are busy with the summer and the holidays, think we should start the Book Group again in the autumn - or forget it altogether.

Hope this is OK with everyone. I certainly don't want anyone to feel it is a chore to read - and I certainly don't want to put any pressure on people.

what should be done

Can this now be put to rest please. I don't post much but do like to read this thread. Diddiddi has explained and I don't think there is any more she can add and you seem to just want to carry it on. I'm sorry Ucra please don't take it personally but again please let it drop.

My first and last word, if that needed to be said, seems to me it should be addressed to both parties and not just one, I doubt there would be a JJAT now without ucra and one or two other people, it would have died a death long ago, JMO of course

Well, not everyone can read every book every time so maybe those of us who have the time can read the book and discuss it - after the Jubilee weekend. I would like this to be fun not a chore - I will wait to hear what others think and decide tomorrow.

I too like the look of DARK FIRE but it is a big book so will need the extra time. If no one else is interested georgy, you and I could discuss it by PM.

Ditto from me too.

Hope we see more of you - we may start the cheerleading squad again when we have news of John's arrival in the UK - and need as many people as possible.

Well I enjoyed reading the book club discussion and even took part, even though I didn't read the book

I will read one when one comes along that I fancy. To me it looked like everybody really enjoyed the opportunity to discuss what they had read, so I hope you do continue with it If people don't want to discuss it on this thread, maybe the TS is a good alternative?

Well, hope you and everyone else has a very happy Easter.
Hi everyone before I go back and respond to all the posts can I join nyannie in wishing you all a very HAPPY EASTER.

Re the BOOK CLUB: Nyannie I'm more than happy to carry on with the book club, I really enjoyed it. Quite happy to go with any of the three books mentioned. Had a gander on Amazon last night and they along with The Photograph were my preferred choices. Whatever you want to do I'll go along with.

Yes I think it's a great idea, and some will read some books, others will read others; as I said above, I enjoyed the discussion even though I didn't read the book lol

I think it would be a shame because people seemed to enjoy it, and even those who hadn't read the book joined in the discussion. It's people's choice whether they read the book or not. I hope no one would see it as a chore. I read in a later post of yours that you were suggesting the discussion after the Jubilee which sounds sensible as you are so involved in that. I'm ashamed to say I haven't a clue when it is except vaguely in June sometime. Now that would be an interesting topic for discussion - I'll take it over into TS nearer the time. Are there any Republicans among us?
