I was given a Golden Interstar (think that's their old name) 8005 CI Premium, when I retired eight years ago,and have had to re-instate it as my DM100s is dead.Apart from the channel lists being out of date,it performs remarkably well, without any bells or whistles!!

Made by the Golden Interstar
models here http://www.golden-interstar.pl/produkt.php?id=439 I have the GI-S 801 FTA Xpeed class and it's the receiver I use to move my H2H motor works well. These STB's have many 'alternative' firmwares for all sorts of tricks not allowed to be discussed on DS. |

I was looking at the Golden Media Wizard HD Class sat receiver, It's roughly the size of a packet of cigs, ideal for sliding in behind my flat screen on the wall! And i hadn't heard of the make before!
