That took me by surprise.

Maybe kick off by saying Emmett for Best Actor. Cos he is.

Hollyoaks have annoyed me.

Lynsey walked right by Doug with no acknowledgement. Hmf.

Yeah I'm sure you're going to be saying "Clever boy" when Joel tells Ste everything, Brendan.

New thread!

Didn't enjoy that episode as much as yesterdays.

Stug were perfect as always, though.

Such a wasted opportunity of having Ste and Brendan in Chez Chez. And no dream sequence for us! For a minute there, I was actually expecting one.

I think all the soap stars meet up at some point, there seem to be a few friendships from across them, I imagine Danny and Emmett have met because they are often up for the same awards.

I wanted Brendan watching Stug at the end there I hope we get some more stuff tomorrow but probably not. I know Brendan's in it but hope Stug are too.

It made me laugh because of how stupid it was.

And what exactly is clever about beating up poor Dougie? I thought it was dumb. But there ya go.

Really enjoyed tonights, somehow more than last nights - probably cos I could detect more softness and care in Brendan's actions than I could last night.

Oh no, did it have to be Joel who spilt the beans? HE IS NOT A CLEVER BOY BRENDAN.

Loved that episode so much.

And I got a buzz out of Ste drinking Brendan's champagne.

I did too, even though it seems so cruel. He's so naively happy, bless him... he doesn't realise that ALL of this is down to Brendan. He's gonna be absolutely crushed.

Brendan sure went to a lot of effort to make sure they got Cinergy

I just really wonder what his end game is what is he really getting out of it. Its not going to get him any closer to Ste as Ste doesnt know about it so I dont see the point really

I get that Ste wants to succeed without Brendan but he isn't exactly making it on his own, he is just relying on Doug now, well he is relying on Brendan still but he doesn't know that.

I'm sort of confused about what his intentions are!

Because I don't think it's just to make Ste happy.

To make his Steven happy. I do genuinely believe that's all it is. He didn't like Ste being disappointed in the Chez Chez scene, did he?

I loved Ste feeding Dougie

Brendan got a bargain thanks to Dougie, saved himself £15k.

I thought maybe part of that was because he didn't get his own way.

No, I don't think it is either. I guess he just wants to be back in Ste's life somehow, becuase he can't bear Ste going off and living life completely independent of him.

What does winning the bid get them? Is it just the building and to trade as a deli. Where are they gonna get the money to set up? To pay for stock etc.Though there is £15,000 left over cos of Doug underbidding isn't there?
