Loved Brendan over these few episodes, great character and Emmett plays him well

No he didn't, I thought he was very pleased with himself and was just waiting for Ste's happy reaction when Doug told him they got it. But then that didn't happen obviously. And he evidently didn't like Ste's disappointment because then he went to fix everything.
I know I'm just making everything shippy, I can't help it. But I do think he's just doing all this to help Ste and make him happy, and getting that hold over Doug is a bonus.

I would say that Brendan isn't thinking this whole thing through because if he thinks Ste is going to be grateful to him then he is tripping but Brendan never thinks things through so it is totally in character for him to do this.

This has probably been the most successful of his shit plans up to date.

Well Ste's made it pretty clear he's had enough. So yes, I guess this kills two birds with one stone - he gets to sort of look after Ste, like on office romp day, when Ste said, if he likes you, he'd do anything for you, but like always with Brendan, it's a way of keeping some control as well.

There's so much they can't seem to say now.

I obviously havent seen many of the storylines but i like this one, I want happiness for Doug and Ste, Two characters which are the only ones which I want happiness that badly for! (Except for Brendan last year to get released ) Just happy he gave doug the money haha, Found it funny when he did the guns to dougs head and said that he still owed him, was unintentionally funny i think
