I think he wants Ste to be happy but there is more to it than that.

Brendan always has an ulterior motive I just cant think what it could be.

Actually I do know how I'm feeling and it's just disappointed. I don't know why. This show is draining the life out of me

I think when the anger of Ste realising Brendan owns their business dies down, this will all be so that Brendan's able to honestly say "I just wanted you to have what you wanted."... and for a kind of understanding to settle between them at last. As long as that's Brendan's genuine motive and he proves that and Ste believes it, they can turn over a new page eventually.

I honestly feel like Brendan is doing the only thing he thinks he can, because he can't talk about or show his feelings (or even admit them) and Ste wouldn't let him if he could. He definitely is at least partly trying to look after him. In his bonkers way.

Now I just have to answer the door. It's Tilly and Bart. They've come round to paint a mural.

I just feel like "meh" now this week is over mainly cos we don't know when the next interaction will be. I mean it could be next week or a month or maybe more . It has been nice this week but I still can't get excited over anything anymore.

I honestly find Ste and Doug adorable, and the scene in the club with Brendan was good.

Well i enjoyed that episode. A wee bit disappointed with the lack of Ste/Brendan interaction but i guess if it's gonna be a long storyline then i guess i can't expect too much too soon.

Ste as always was the epitome of adorableness

I adored Friday's, Monday's and yesterday's, but I've got to admit, I've been a bit disappointed by some of it.


I've wanted it for so long. They have so much to discuss - Brendan letting him down when Eileen came, the last punch, Ste not believing in him re: the murders, the sacking, Brendan sleeping with other men, Danny Houston etc etc.

Yes, they're both trapped, really. Even if Brendan wanted to be honest, like you said - Ste wouldn't want to hear it, not after all the times he's been let down. They're stuck at the moment.
