The judges are not really happy with the result. Clearly they'd rather get rid of the elimination and have a big party.

The right one went I think.

I like interesting acts, so I feel like I should have liked Deandre more than I did.

Definitely the right decision, I think he's been the weakest for a few weeks.

I wonder who'll get Deandre's big room in the mansion now.

I feel a bit sorry for Deandre as he wasn't the worst last night. I feel like he's been thrown under the bus by the producers by making him sing first on more than one occasion. He was obviously who they wanted to leave... I'm also starting to get a bit bored by Phillips attitude of "I'm only being me" he seems almost bored of it all and I didn't think much of his performance tbh. Anyway I hope it's a better theme next week....

First time there have been more girls than boys. So the judges have 2 weeks left to use the save?

The save will only ever be used on the judges two favourites Jessica and Joshua. Or they use it the very last chance they can just to use it on whoever is the bottom of the top 6 (is that the last time it can be used?).

Well anyway i knew Hollie would be in bottom 3 undeservedly. How the hell did Skylar escape? Oh yes... she was put on last and got told to talk through most of her song to apparently show she can "sing anything". And why are the judges clearly favouring Jessica And Joshua? And what a joke about the "almost fainted backstage" sympathy vote getting. And when Jennifer Who-pez said "one person right the other not" about the bottom 2 it was so evident she wanted Hollie there. Why is she so against Hollie? And her fake "advice" with that ridiculous White Chicks movie laugh when she really wants to say "you were crap or insult the contestant".

American idol has virtually transformed into a parody of singing shows now. Useless judges. Only one who did say something constructive and told the truth stopped because he didn't want to be seen as the "mean" judge. Either scrap the entire judging panel and just leave it to the public to vote without pointless "you were all great" comments or bring in completely new people who will actually judge the singing.

Not a chance Elise should of gone. And no way people can say "That's American voters for you", because they're miles better than the UK that's for sure, our voters are often disgraceful to be quite frank.

Wouldn't say Deandre was the worst out of all of them, but I still think overall was the right person to leave. He had a great look and I truly believe that's what got him as far as he got, very commercial look. His sound is quite different in fairness, it's just a matter of the right material for him, best of luck to him, seems like a really nice guy.

Was shocked Hollie survived if I'm honest. My favorite by far but how Jimmy and co allowed her to go out and sing that song is beyond me, aren't they supposed to be there to help these people? My goodness. So happy the public saved her, hope she comes back strong next week. I'm sure even if she produces a world class classic performance she still wont get much praise from the judges though. Almost like when they tried to hate on Haley the year before.

Expect we'll see another over the top standing ovation for Joshua next week again, I genuinely fast forward every single aftermath for him now because I cant bare to watch the judges comments. Times like these I miss Simon, as not a chance he'd of been giving these performances from him standing ovations.

I suppose what I meant was that the US often vote off the acts which a re slightly different like Deandre. I wasn't a fan of his style but that's just me but he seemed like a nice enough lad but not maybe outgoing enough for the US viewers. I have to say I am the same with Joshua, he can screech and he hasn't done any songs really where he just sings - also what's with the gospel choirs so soon in the competition?

I Sky+ this show and watch it all on Saturday afternoon so try to avoid the threads until now. I thought Deandre had a really nice voice and I was a bit surprised that he went before Holly this week. Really don't get the Joshua love, to me he just screeches through every song but what do I know, I can't sing for toffee! My favourite is Phillip but I think Colton will win the whole thing.

Love American Idol, it's always been my favourite of all the singing reality shows.

It is strange how the judges especially in the last two weeks have turned on Hollie and don't give any praise at all (bar the duet with Deandre which they did say something alright). Before that they did seem to be genuinely giving her advice and did give praise where it was deserved. I don't get why they keep doing standing ovations to Joshua when he screeches through songs. Compare when he sang Without you to people like Carly Smithson a few years back and even Alexandra Burke from X Factor and you'll see how karaoke he really is. The judges are so boring, at least when Paulabot was there she was funny (in good way) and although reluctant she did manage on few occasions to say when someone was rubbish or you could get what she meant.

All the fake Jennifer Who-pez laughs that remind me of those guys in movie White Chicks is so pathetic and makes you wonder how credible a judge she is. If i knew her in real life (not likely but if i did) i'd keep away from her, you'd get rubbish advice. Say a family member died and you go to her, she'd be like "you'll be fine aheh heh heh heh" and "you gotta feel it and then you'll know aheh heh heh heh". What sort of advice is that?

Was also wrong of Ryan to almost make the judges state if they thought Deandre should have stayed as it just seemed odd. Also nobody who would have won has gone over Hollie and they seem to forget they have the save option so if they did have a sticky situation they could get out of it. Hollie hasn't been advised well as her last 2 songs have been too big and she should never have sung Jesus Take the Wheel. Also can they please stop comparing her to Jessica it's not fair.
