Anyone else having minor issues with iPlayer on Freesat?

When starting to play a programme, it jumps back to live TV for a second, then mutes the audio for the first few (ten?) seconds of the iPlayer programme.

At the end of the iPlayer programme, it just seems to get stuck. It says it's loading the page (presumably the page with the programme on it), but never does. The box hasn't crashed - it'll happily go back to live TV if I press Exit.


Apart from these minor issues, plays the programme fine. I'm using the higher quality version.

If so, that's quite worrying, and a bit bizarre. Still, no signs of it getting any worse.

The first three times it did it were all on episodes of "One Night", and I just thought "that's a very strange way to start a programme - in silence!?" - but then when it did it at the start of Waterloo Road I knew something was up.

I vaguely recall the sound muting symptom being mentioned before and related to running the modified firmware on the Foxsat HDR - are you running that by any chance?

My Foxsat HDR running unmodified firmware definitely suffers from the second symptom, it never reloads the index once the programme has finished.

I've had iplayer since It was in beta, and there has never been any sound on my Humax for the first 10 seconds or so. If I 'rewind' back to the beginning all is ok. No modified firmware. Just got used to it!

The last three or four programs I've watched on my Foxsat on Iplayer have all froze between 45 and 47 minutes.

OK it my be my BB connection, but it didn't happen on the ITV Player last night, nor does it happen on my Sony Bravia when watching the Iplayer.

Anyone else experiencing the same?
