Samsung D6100 3D Problem

Hi folks,

Got the above TV towards the end of last year and it's been superb. Lately though, something strange has happened to the 3D function. When I hit the 3D button, the screen zooms into the bottom left quarter of the screen. If I select the over-under option (rather than the side by side option, which I believe is broadcast by Sky?), then I get a horribly zoomed and stretched picture.

I haven't tried the 3D for a while, so not entirely sure when the problem began, but I was prompted to do a firmware update a few weeks ago - smoking gun?

It really looks like a config issue, but I can't find the right combination of buttons to make it right! I've even done a factory reset to no avail.

Any thoughts - apart from raising a call with Samsung (that page is open in another tab right now!)

Thanks in advance (and in hope).

I would suggest you call - it may well have been caused by the update.

Yes, just raised a call with them via My Samsung. Also had a faulty panel replaced a couple of months ago, but didn't notice if 3D was screwed then or not! Fingers crossed
