Is Britain running out of talent??
Has this show exhausted all of the talent England has??
This year so far has been pretty poor ![]() The only good thing about this year is David Walliams |

I think Britain does have talent. Sadly a lot of the "serious" artistes don't get a chance to showcase how good they are on these shows as they don't fit criteria needed/wanted by the production team.

You just have to watch The Voice to realise there is at least plenty of singing talent. Unfortunately BGT still thinks it's amusing to bring on deluded peeps to mock.

Watched last weeks but only 30mins tonight.
Seen it all before. I was a big fan of BGT when it first started as well. It's a combination of a reduction in the quality of the good acts and boredom with the judges. Only David Walliams is making an effort. |

Exactly seen it all before and the newbies are really a shadow of the former contestants with half the talent.

The format has so much potential. They could try and find a big new comedian, a magician (there hasn't been a big British one since Paul Daniels ffs), a ventriloquist. But no it's the same old dance troups, opera singers and performing dogs every year. It's meant to be a varierty show, but I'm not seeing much variety.

That's what I liked about it, the genuine variety. The variety now is gimmicky acts like hoop man and the oldsters.
It was a really good show, not any more. |

People have the right to critisize a programme that they used to enjoy and has since declined.in quality, they would'nt know of it's decline if they stopped watching... Are you a mindreader?
How do you know if FM will watch next week

Is Britain running out of talent?
If this is what it has to go by then yes. It's out there but this show is just not finding it! |

Maybe anyone with real talent realizes it's best to stay well away from Simon Cowell.

If he's nowhere good enough, why is he allowed on stage? Just to humiliate him I guess

This year BGT has really, really lost it. For the first time ever I was genuinely fed up with it past weekend. Watching crap act after crap act, then by the end of the episode you have seen one, maybe two acts that have anything that resembles talent.

![]() Where are the comedians, impressionists etc? The format has shown some amazing acts like the Ukranian sand artist, Terry Fator (Americas Got Talent, he was brilliant) and Iona (the contortionist) but they either didnt win or werent on the UK version.
