I thought the guy was a bit of a loony, but still he was quite funny with that catchy rap style song. It has potential to do well as one-off hit novelty song, the same as it was for the Cheeky Girls.

Hats off to the guy for making people laugh, he was saying back stage about it been a case of when it will be number 1, I thought, yeah right then afterwards I have to admit it will be number 1 for sure, hope he has more little tunes in him though to get him further in the competition.

It's this year's Chopping Wood, Chopping Wood...

Chopping wood, chopping wood
Chopping now and then.
Chopping wood, chopping wood
Chopping through the glen.....

I just had a thought.... Imagine if he wins and ends up singing that song in zero gravity.

Where me keys? Where me phone?
They're on Earth!

I read he's been doing his thing in Manchester for years. Well known in the community. The original video is hilarious. It's on YouTube somewhere (Can't post the link)

Good thing he didn't use that version, the female vocal was awful.

He managed to include a small clip of the Rovers Return too. (He is/was an extra)

He must get KEN BARLOW on the new video if he makes one.

Here's the other track he will probably use in the next round which was being mentioned by the locals who know him from 'Back in the day'

What time is it Mr Zip?

http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct...SVjJdaNrqIzIWg

I can feel the message in his lyrics. Positivity for the youth.
No expense spared

Rick Ross???

More like Zip Moss(side)

Mad as a box of frogs, and will probably reach the live shows

Won't win if he gets there as he is basically a one trick pony and we've seen this sort of thing already with DJ Talent

Whilst I agree, I do think its refreshing to see something new.
It was original and amusing.

It kind of reminded me of the novelty one-hit wonders around in the 90s (I'll Be Back, Tetris etc) and I think Cowell could easily cash in for one single.

I like that, real 90s. I think that proves this guy is not a complete joke. He is like Paul Burrell, working his way into the industry and honing his craft. This guy could be a huge star.

Yes that's true, but I really want the Queen to have to watch it at the Royal Performance.

I'd really like to see how it goes down if an act like this actually won and Simon had to present them to the Queen to represent the talent that his show has found to entertain her.

To watch the toe-clenching embarrassment take place at such a grand venue would be the TV event of the year I feel.

Yep - just as I said in another thread, he could well get far on a Wagner style anti-vote.
