Waitrose ready meals, the new home for gristle?

Been using Ocado/Waitrose for the past six months or so but recently finding their ready meals quite poor quality. A lasagne I has last week not only had a small bit of gristle but a huge scraping of what can only be described as inedible fat. It was horrific, like finding a small plaster in your meal. Then today, the sweet and sour chicken meal had a small piece of unchewable something, too.

I know you run the risk with ready meals, you're always one mouthful away from something untoward, especially when it's minced meat, but chicken as well? And with a company like Waitrose, not good enough.

Anyone else had problems recently?

Yeah, I dabbled with Waitrose about 6 months ago and found that their ready meals weren't a patch on M&S - I was surprised by how poor they were.

Oh dear, have a curry in the fridge. Their cajun chicken pizza wasn't up to much either, basically four quid for a piece of spicy bread. Cheaper to stick some chicken on some cheese on toast.
