Thinking of something different to make today and have seen these and wondered if anyone has tried them and what one you would reccommend. There are sausage casserole ones, lemon chicken and other varieties.

I've tried the sausage ones for both meat sausages and Cauldron veggie sausages and they were actually quite nice. Then my daughter wanted me to bake her salmon cutlets in the creamy sauce, not bad but I thought it looked like it needed more sauce despite following the recipe, perhaps I'll try the dill & lemon one for the fish next. I'm veggie so I don't eat fish or meat ( hence the veggie sausage above). I've also tried the casserole ones for beef for my husband and used Quorn chicken style pieces for myself, in a seperate bag of course! They both turned out ok too. I was impressed as you could prepare the ingredients in the bags refrigerate and pop on the oven when ready - even the following day. So I used my the days I was out and in a rush. The bags had been half price in Tesco at the time, don't think I'd pay full price for them unless I needed some thing quick again. But I'm at home all day do I can really do things from scratch as I have shelves of herbs/spices and could replicate the idea myself with a pack of roasting bags.

I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking that! I do have a curry one to try too - will report back when I get around to trying it - again I'll use one bag for meat and another for Quorn pieces.

you did make sure it was vented didnt you , if you didnt then you made a food bomb , tried quite a few of these and they seem fine , you can buy the bags quite cheaply as well and work well for your own recipes

I've tried them twice. Rubbish.

Bag split the first time.

Also the food comes out very very dry. Lacking in sauce, so I had to improvise and put it all in a casserole dish with some water - it still had that artificial powdery taste. I would not use them again.

I use the Maggi Garlic for Chicken or Paprika Chicken and it's lovely! I use chicken breast fillets when they are on offer in Tesco, add four to the bag and throw in the seasoning powder, shake to coat and bake in the oven for approx 40-45 mins at 180 degrees C. It cooks in it's own juices and is really lovely!
