It's so weird, I want to like him, and I totally see what other people see in him but I just can't seem to connect.

A few weeks ago I actually thought they were going there, but not anymore. I think Rob will try and win her back, and she might waver a bit, but they've been setting Scannalise up for so long now, I can't see them backing down.

Though that leaves Rob single and I can't, for the life of me, imagine who he'll date.

BIB: I agree. I think when a character is brought in purely to be a love interest, it rarely works. And you can always tell. Ally, for example. Totally unnecessary. He could have been one of many available male cast members.

I think you can tell by the overwhelmingly positive response to him and Amy, that he's been nothing short of an astounding success.

And I'm certainly not saying that the most interesting thing about him is his surname hilarity.

But Barney's never getting anything other than comedy one-night stands, in need of a stable relationship, him.

Licky is out of the equation, Ricky isn't a cool teen remember, he doesn't deserve screentime or a love life.

I really wouldn't complain about Ste's love interest being a pointless character. The last thing we need is for him to become part of the main cast.
