Merry Christmas fellow foodies!

As soon as I can escape from work, hopefully around early afternoon, I'll be going home and getting together a buffet of quiche, sausage rolls, crisps, dips, cheese etc. Can't wait!

Just had some cured meat, wensleydale and a mince pie.
Going out for a few pints and have some bolognaise left over so it should be chips & bolognaise for supper.

As alway, christmas eve is roast gammon, potatos, carrots and cheese sauce.

The gammon will be our ham to have with pickles over christmas.

bacon, eggs, waffles and beans. mopped up with a slice of bread. Posting this has reminded me I just bought a pork, turkey and bacon lattice pie which needs to go in the fridge.

Main: Turkey, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, sprouts, carrots, stuffing, bread sauce and gravy.
Dessert: Christmas Pud. and brandy butter.
Later: Cheese and port.

i love cold roasties just had one in fact

leftovers for us today

Stottie is a type of bread traditionally from the North East and has a really heavy almost dough like texture (they are only about 4cm thick).
Lovely when made properly, unlike the ones in supermarkets who tend to make them lighter so not at all a stottie really
