Yes, that sounds lovely. Why can't I ever think of things like that!

We're just having new potatoes, asparagus and mushroom burgers.

Beef casserole with mash. It's mum's birthday today so me and sis are doing the cooking for the family.

Supposed to be spaghetti carbonara but it's far too hot IMO... thinking a beer garden and some pub grub sounds better!

I really fancy pasta, so maybe spaghetti bolognese or spaghetti with chicken and pesto

Didn't get to go to the pub last night so tonight it's definitely pub grub

Hard boiled eggs, with the usual salad stuff. Way too hot to cook tonight.
Will make some custard to have with frozen rhubarb (after its cooked I mean)

Less heat from the oven cooking things the cooler my house will be

Didn't realise when I did the shop last weekend that it would be so warm this week! So, I have a potato, bacon and apple hotpot in the slow cooker to have with sausages

Haven't posted for a while as still haven't been in a foody mood and most dinners have consisted of crisps or nothing. Oh so healthy!

I really did fancy chinese earlier and to be fair, should have given in to my cravings, but I have put a southern fried chicken steak in the oven instead with some potato wedges which i'll have with some beans. Not quite sure it'll do the trick though.

Actually, change of plan. Going to have the chicken in a wrap with salad and the wedges. No beans!
