Been a lovely day here today so were having a BBQ - bratwurst, burgers, chicken and steaks with potato salad and salad stuff washed down with a few glasses of vino

Minced beef casserole with dumplings
I bulk out 250g of minced steak with chopped tomatoes, canned butter beans, sweetcorn and peas. I found a can of new potatoes and added them too. No need now for extra veg - just the dumplings and it's an all in one pot meal ![]() ![]()

I've been to a local food festival today and got lots of inspiration
I bought some wild garlic bread there, so dinner will be lasagne with the bread. Followed by a giant Rolo cookie I purchased
