Veggie curry ( chicken for hubby) and pilaff/ microwaved pompadoms ( no added fat).

^ love Halloumi Kimi - but lately Tesco ate only selling it with goats'/sheep' milk - I really can't eat that! They used to sell cows' milk one that I'd have as a treat. I've looked everywhere.

That's what the difference is! I thought I noticed there was a difference (for the worse) but thought I was imagining it. I'll have to start looking too. No Cypriot shops near us, unfortunately.

Glad it wasn't just me Kimi - their low fat version (Tesco) was perfect! I've been and read labels in Morrison's, Asda, etc - nothing doing for cows' milk only.
Why do people on cookery shows always assume the veggie is ok with goats/ sheep cheese products - IMO they smell, taste like urine. it's like assuming a meat/ fish eater will only eat beef/ cod for example. Then there's seafood eaters don't like prawns / scallops for example, so we can/ should a choice too IMO.

I am going to have two Mediteranean vegetable crepes with mushrooms, parsnip and carrots, and then a chocolate filled crepe.

Fish, potato, onion and broccoli soup (home made by me) with crackers and brown bread, with fresh fruit salad for dessert.

Would love pancakes, but am not allowed sugar - and lemon and sugar are my fave toppings. I'll have some as a treat when I next visit my sis, with some other topping.

Yes, completely agree! I'll have to have a look in Marks and Spencers and some delis/farm shops.

Sounds lovely!

Leek and potato gratin with flat mushrooms tonight (stuffed with spinach, spring onions and breadcrumbs).

As I said yesterday - I'm glad it wasn't just me - thought I was reading ingredients wrong - but no - can't find just cows' milk anywhere.

Baked potato with Mediterranean chicken & broccoli & cauliflower bake for hubby - for me, I'm just going to substitute the chicken with Quorn fillets.

Just made vegetable stew.

I must admit it's a hideous colour, like something from a Hungarian soup kitchen! (thank goodness it's only for me) - due to adding red cabbage - but it tastes delicious.

Potato, onion, cauliflower, broccoli, peas, cabbage, carrots and stock, with added black pepper and parsley and a dash of Lea & Perrins.
