Today we (me & the missus) had Taglietelle with home-made Ragu sauce - seen on Simply Italian last week - followed by home-made Mango and Lime cake - as seen in this months Asda magazine.

Ooh lovely, that's my idea of heaven I saw that recipe in one of the magazines but haven't gotten round to trying it yet.

Our dinner tonight is steak, new potatoes and asparagus with hollondaise sauce, bit of a treat after working for most of the weekend.

That sounds divine!

We missed lunch so just had some roast chicken in a coronation style sauce with salad and naan bread. Might go in search of some pudding later, or there's lots of rhubarb in the freezer so perhaps a crumble.
It was pretty good, but way too big!

Mmm, I love rhubarb crumble

I've been back at my dad's as of yesterday. Last night he did cheese and tomato omelette with sauteed potatoes and tonight it was pork in a yummy creamy sauce with mashed potato and vegetables.

Last night I cooked a lasagne. I have mine with a massive salad whereas hubby has baked beans. Tonight we are having southern fried chicken, salad and a buttered crusty roll.

It was lovely! I've never had baked cheese like that before.

Tonight is:

I'm going to try that braised Aubergine dish from the new Ken Hom and Ching's series - Ken makes it as Ching hates greasy aubergine, so do I - so I'm looking forward to this.

Dinner tonight (once again, courtesy of Daddy) was homemade pork meatballs (which were delicious, I have requested the recipe) with spaghetti. I'm so spoiled here
