Arsenal looking threatening on the counter but havent had too many chances, thought we had a decent first half, some players looking a little rusty but its to be expected as many players out there havent had much game time recently. Not too bad a first half though.

Sturridge and Torres had poor halfs, need to do better. Malouda and Kalou impressing me more, surprisingly.

Kalou has been really wasteful on the counter.....

He's getting forward well, just wish his final pass was more precise!

How good is Bertrand looking? He's so comfortable with the ball, he's getting better with every game!

Bertrand has been very impressive when he's played. Makes you wonder what difference it would have made to Cole's form earlier in the season if they'd been rotated more often.

Think we need Mata on now. Need someone to play an accurate through-ball.

Kalou's final ball is comparable to Walcott's crossing.

Might even be worse.

Good defensive performance, bodes well for the Barca game if we can keep them out again. RDM should be applauded for sorting out the defence back to being solid again. However, poor going forward. Torres Sturridge and Kalou were all wasteful. Malouda surprised me as he was much more effective than earlier in the season. Midfield of Romeu and Essien battled hard and competed well in the middle which was good to see. But still, i think we needed to win that game to get 4th, pretty much spurs spot to lose now. Oh well, Win v Barca and we are in a CL final, and who knows what will happen in that

Also Sturridge was shocking today, he offered nothing all game, looked disinterested and diddnt even show bursts of pace he usually shows. Very poor, i would ship him off in the summer if possible and buy in a proper winger. He looks like he is sulking about being out wide. If Man City do come in for 20million for him i would snap their hands off. Torres also lacks end product. Shows some great skill on occasion with flicks and dribbles, but his final passes are poor, and he never seems to like taking shots anymore. Also seems prone to running into impossible alleys where he ends up against 2-3 defenders and loses the ball cheaply. Should try to hold the ball up and get the pass to other players like Drogba does.

And i should mention Bertrand, looked very good, great to have a young left back come through the ranks to deputise for Cole.

Funny old game , Arsenal were there for the taking and with the right subs and more emphasis on attack you could have easily got a win . Considering 3 out of the last 4 games at home as well a win today could have made a big difference at the end of the season. Newcastle will certainly be gunning for the fourth spot .

Lady luck is still hanging around with another shot hitting your crossbar , although I can't see her making the journey to Barcelona tbh

Dire game, I almost wish Ars had scored, it might have livened up a bit.

I agree, Arsenal were not great today, we should have gone for the win. Arsenal looked like a team who did not want to lose, as that would put pressure on them in the final few games for 3rd/4th. I would say that this result probably guarantees them CL next season.

We'll see about that.

And yeah, we could have nicked a goal had we capitalised on the chances we had. The amount of times Arsenal lost possession to our pressing was good to see. But hey, at least Arsenal didn't score a late winner against us! I don't think I would have been able to stomach seeing that!!

4th will be gone if Newcastle win today. Might as well give some playing time to Lukaku.

5th seems to be going as well!
Really weird game! So many chances from us...but then again so did Arsenal.Thank god for the cross bar lol
But considering the changes we made didnt do to bad...doesnt really help our league postion but hey least it werent aother crazy 5-3 loss....
