Looks fantastic. Shame it can't happen now

I'm not sure I can agree with how it looks. I'm not fan of stadiums that are 4 seperate stands as such, which this seems to be. The retention of the power station, which I know has to be kept makes it look meh. I was expecting something to blow me away when I saw that they'd released the pictures, but this does zero for me.

Disappointed but not surprised England went out. Ash and JT had a great tournament, just want them having a rest now before pre season.

Good luck to the remaining Chelsea lads in the tournament even though I put a bet on Germany before the tournament, would be great to see one of us get a winner's medal.

Happy to have been proven wrong regrding Terry... thought he looked slow in the first game but came together really well in the next 3... Cole was class as always and I feel bad for him missing that pen.

Good luck for Terry's next big fixture; at crown court.

Really impressed with Moutinho. I'd love to see him here.

Haven't you got a few players in his position already?

We have a few, but none that I trust for a full season (assuming Ramires will play more on the RW). It's our weakest area IMO.

Courtois is staying at Athletico next season, and Malouda is - rumoured to be - negotiating with a Brazilian club.

Why hasn't Mata played yet?

Was it ever in any doubt? They have always been fantastic servants for the England team. I love how whenever they make a mistake, they always do their best to try and rectify it. Wish more England players would take the same approach!

Hope Ash doesn't feel too bad for missing the pen. Even the best players in the world miss them from time-to-time. His CL medal should ease the pain a bit!

Sucks for him, but can only be good for us.

According to reports we are again after Modric. Interest from Real Madrid has cooled and we are prepared to offer 36m. If true, thats far too much in my opinion. I hope it's not the beginning of another summer long saga in pursuit of a player we don't really need.
I'm beginning to think that Hulk wouldn't have been such a bad deal, he would have been a better fit into our current squad. He could play wide right, or through the middle, and he would make a genuine secondary striker if Torres fails to deliver.
How about this young striker from Fiorentina we are allegedly after at 25m ?..must confess I hadn't heard too much about him before..is he that good ?

I think Levy would accept a lower bid from another club rather than sell Modric to us now, even if it's another English club. tbh, I'd rather have Moutinho.

Jovetic could be a good signing for us. His record last year was something like 14 goals in 30 games. £25m seems a bit much, but we'd probably get that down a bit if we wait a while.

Also, he has David Luiz hair. That could be pretty dangerous if we sign Fellaini as well

Just don't think after last summer's attempt to get Modric that Spurs will sell him to Chelsea. If he goes anywhere it will be to a team like Real Madrid.

Stevan Jovetic would be a great signing. A talented young player who can play in midfield or as a striker and would certainly contribute to the team.

Modric would cost Chelsea around 40-50m. Surely they could get Jovetic and Fellaini combined for less than that amount or at least for the same amount as Modric.

Modric is a great player and would be great to see him at Chelsea, but Jovetic and Fellaini would also be brilliant additions to the team.

Nah he's all yours lol.He is a great player but 36m...not that great! Not that its even my money lol but still like others have said could do better for that amount.Considering its just gana turn into a case of see how high can raise the price and no doubt we'll pay the insane amount for him.

Yes, according to some web sites Maicon is almost a done deal. I can't see the point myself, a once great player but his best days are gone. He's 31 and at best would only provide cover. A legend at Inter, they wouldn't be selling if he had any more years left at the top.
There appears to be a remarkable shortage of RBs around at present, perhaps we should have held on to Bosingwa ?..for all his shortcomings, he was as good as most that are currently available.

I wish Kalou and Bosingwa all the best.

They may not be Chelsea legends but we thank them for their loyal service.

Kalou made 147 + 107 appearances for Chelsea scoring 60 goals (0.236) in a 6 year spell he’s won the PL, FA cup, League Cup and CL.

Torres get the Golden Boot and 4th goal made in Chelsea

Well, made my night. Del Bosque doesn't rate him and Nando gets Golden Boot. Mata gets 5 mins and scores with his first touch.

And Nando with his 2 kids....didn't think it was possible to fall in love with him even more.
