Yh me too. Give me a crap first half, but action packed second half anytime of the week.

Disappointing second half. Not much to say about it.....hope the PSG game can stay lively for 90 minutes.

1 game down, 3 more to go. Decent game overall.

Yay, we get to see Carlo again. I miss his left eyebrow!

Shame it's only our 2nd game...we're much less likely to put out a stronger line-up. With PSG's recent signings it would be a very interesting match.

Have given in and subscribed to CTV just to catch our pre-season. Sounds like the new kids are looking sharp. Looking forward to PSG and AC Milan though will be catching the highlights rather than watching live, 2am footie is a bit too hardcore for me

Was gonna stay up last night, but never did in the end. Good to see a strong attacking performance, delighted for all our scorers. Sounds like Hazard and Marin put in strong debuts. I wouldnt worry too much about the defence, we are missing a lot of key players at the back and it is preseason so i would expect us to concede a few, atleast until Cech, Terry, Cole etc are back in there.

But good signs that we managed to score 4 .

Wigan Athletic chairman Dave Whelan has issued an ultimatum to Chelsea to meet his £10 million valuation on Victor Moses or end their pursuit of the player. Chelsea have so far offered £4 million and a choice of one of their fringe players either on loan, or a player to the value of that sum.

Also reports that we have agreed a deal for the other Hazard.

I'm not sure why we want either.

Because we are short of strikers and wide right.

Both are promising youngsters, so worth a punt, IMO. Although you are right we are going to have a crazy amount of talent upfront. To be honest, i expect Lukaku, KDB, Kakuta, McEachran and Piazon to all go out on loan. Cant see them getting much game time.

Malouda/Essien/Merieles/Benayoun/Ferrira could all leave too. Still plenty of changes to come. RDM is fairly gutting the squad out, and replacing it with promising youngsters.

Ramires / Marin / Hazard / de Bruyne / Sturridge / Kakuta can all play wide right, so I don't think we are short there, just in CM. Even RB isn't that bad, with Hutchinson, Chalobah, Essien and Ramires all capable of playing there.

I don't object to us signing another player, but I'd rather we try and get rid of a few before doing so, otherwise we're left with a bloody big squad and a few underused players rotting in the reserves.

Looks like the Thorgan Hazard deal will be announced tomorrow.

Cool. If Thorgan is better than Eden, as quoted by Eden, should be another quality player.

Seriously though Thorgan is supposed to be a top young prospect, who along with Eden, could certainly do a lot for the club.

The latest on our multiple transfer stories appear to be as follows:

According to Lens Thorgan as mentioned by NinjyBear is pretty much completed. Antoine Sibierski has said he expects this to be completed at any point now.

With regards to the right back position we seem to be attempting to sign Cesar Azpilicueta from Marseille. He is part of the Spanish Olympic Team and we are trying to get him for around 7m from Marseiile.

RDM has already said that the club is interested in Victor Moses, and the latest from Wigan is that they want 10m for him but would also accept 8m plus add ons as part of the transfer.

We've signed some top players but it seems the transfer stories are still seeing progression at the club.

The only other attacking option I would have wanted is Hoilett, and he's about to sign for QPR

Surprised about that....he's traded one mess of a club for another.

I am sky plussing all the pre-season games, I watched the Seattle one last night.

Very excited about Hazard and Marin, looks like flair is arriving back at the Bridge!!

Kevin.......Prince Harry..... ...he is the spit.

Next game kicks-off Sunday/Monday at midnight. Am I right in thinking that the Euro players will be available now?

Just waiting for Meireles and Torres from what I know. Everyone else is on Olympic duty

Eager to see Hazard and Marin supplying chances for Torres

Probably should have made an effort to watch the Brazil-GB match tonight. Any thoughts on our targets so far?

I'll admit I've not seen much of him before now, but Oscar is completely running the show. Absolutely brilliant player on this evidence.
