That must the best record any team has against them since they became scary. Could be better if not for all the decisions against us.

We really need the fans to get behind us tonight. There was a fantastic atmosphere throughout the Napoli game, the support was almost worth a goal start. In the game against Benfica, the fans were strangely muted ?

I agree, the atmosphere was amazing against Napoli.

But I can't see it not being the same or better against Barca, it's a massive game.

Better to stay on your feet and try to muscle them off the ball/ make them make a mistake etc. Also a big risk of getting sent off with slide tackles these days.”

Yeah, he has to be extra careful in that regard. The last thing we need is more bookings since Luiz is out.

Chelsea have never lost to Barcelona in any champions league match when we have had 11 players on the pitch.

Our Record is played 10 Won 3 Drawn 4 Lost 3 ( all the games lost are above).

Mmm, the lesson to be learnt here, at the very least, keep 11 men on the pitch. ”

Lol, that's some nice stats you got there! I think we're going to get a clean game (well I hope we do anyway). After all the fuss that was made last time, there's going to be more pressure on the ref to not make any dodgy decisions.

I've just done a simple Chelsea to win bet @ 4-1.
Some of the anytime goalscorer odds are very mean. I was going to go for John Terry, but not at a measly 12-1. Mikel is only 20-1..more like 200-1 I would have thought !

Come on Pinocchio, you don't want that nose growing any longer.
We know you expect to play us off the park, and so do the bookies.

To be honest , I'd take a 2:1 defeat NOW , if it was on the table .

However the game goes I just hope it's not one full of poor refereeing decisions and play-acting.

Yes, he's gradually getting rid of all the tasty ones. I'm getting a bit suspicious about that old Spurs git.

Hope we can do well tonight, looking forward to the match immensely even if we get hammered. Semi final of the CL, one of the biggest games of the season! Hope the boys can put in a good performance tonight.

Cech, Ivanović, Cahill, Terry, Cole, Lampard, Mikel, Meireles, Ramires, Mata, Drogba.

Meireles?!?!? That can't be right?

Could be the last Champions League football fans at Stamford Bridge will see for another 17 months tonight if Chelsea lose and don't finish 4th.

Well i predicted that, pretty much going for a choke up the midfield formation, and ramires out wide to help deal with Alves. Would like to see Torres/Sturridge in the second half though. 4321 basically, which Jose always uses against Barca with Madrid.

Valdes, Alves, Puyol, Mascherano, Adriano, Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas, Sanchez & Messi.

Barca team, no real surprise i guess.

Torres, Sturridge, Pique, and Pedro the key players from the bench tonight.

Bookies in football are stupid.

Real Madrid were 1/25 to win the league 4 weeks ago and United were 1/33 after Man City lost to Arsenal.

Not looking so easy now is it?

Barca have an outside chance of winning here, but should win the second leg.

Is Meireles playing as a winger?

^ Found the above tweet quite funny. No need to worry Barca; you won't be needing to lodge a complaint about the state of our pitch - it looks immaculate!

Drogba 1, Lampard 1, Iniesta 1
