I pitched solo, and i thought it went ok, there was a problem with some of the links that i used but that wasnt a major problem.

I sent the whole, pitch, clearly part of it didn't get through?

Harry was pitching on his own, and he had a few issues - both technically, and sort of missing out a lot of the content we'd prepared - some of the answers to questions weren't as good as they could have been. I also think I was probably a little overenthusiastic with some of the figures I mentioned. But on the whole, our pitches were decent.

We did spend many hours discussing the ins and outs of the products, and I feel the rest of the team except Harry had a good understanding. My point is proven by the well-flowing answers from myself/David/Gav/Val!

There were quite a few problems with one of our pitches, to Kevin. Obviously, you have to give Harry some credit as he did have the tough job of having to pitch by himself because of time constraints and Amroussi's absence - however I had to go for a long Easter Dinner with the family and when I got back I had several msn messages and pms saying it was a disaster and that didn't leave me with the best of confidence as the PM, to be quite honest.

I offered my assistance to him in a separate chat but it was never needed.

And I was pitching solo as well, but Katie did help write the pitch and I felt I was very equipped to answer questions by myself after the fact.”

Okay, so going back to the products themselves, who came up with them? Did the teams decide unanimously to go with these products?

Also I've heard Poth didn't write his pitch although now it seems to have been for a personal reason so if it is then that's understandable in my opinion.”

With all due respect, Katie was not present at all for the planning of the product or for making the times for the pitches - we actually planned our pitches out with me presenting with her and Naruto presenting with Poth as we were unsure whether or not they would even surface. The fact that she even wrote a pitch at all was good for me - and I did incorporate her ideas, as she failed to mention here.

Carlisle came up with Urban Zoo, after a meeting in which we all discussed ideas. We then voted, and those present in the chat at that time said Urban Zoo was the way forward.

We all had ideas:

Jess: Water Guns & Ponchos – aiming in to the cylinder to win
Jess: Olympics sport charades
Harry: Foam ball with a face on it
Harry: Swingball with a person as the middle object thing
Harry: Soft toy cars
Harry: Animal soft toy ball
Harry: Magnetic car mat
Dan: Remote controlled bug/butterflies – can be used to give people notes
Dan: GPS tracking device on toys
Gav: Stair slide
David: Remote controlled car with mats etc inside
David: Cooking cake decorating toys
David: ‘Shark in the Water’ (Sort of like Pop up Pirates with water spraying the players who trigger the shark)
David: Zoo Manager game & card game

We eventually went for David's idea, which everyone was pretty happy with, I did prefer another one (The Shark In The Water I think it was) , but I was still happy.

Just to stick up for myself everything was up in the air about writing my pitch, which LAS, Tyjet and Aliyah were aware of

I would say that Louise, Zak, Naruto and myself each contributed pretty equally to the design of the product. Poth did try to incorporate some ideas, however, these were deemed to not be successful by the majority of the group, though he never objected to the ideas we set forth.

Harry didn't have to pitch alone, though. You didn't really make much of an effort (if any) to make things work out with Amroussi regarding the pitches. Kevin couldn't do today, but I spoke to Amy and Amy told me she was free today. Harry and Amroussi could have both pitched today if you'd tried to work it out.

You have a lot of excuses, don't you Poth?

We all really quickly established it was an idea that had a lot of scope for development, and it was unanimously agreed (I think?) that the Zoo idea was easily the best idea there.

We all came up with ideas, at first we thought of an online game but many were against that idea

And how were the tasks delegated? Obviously each of you was expected to contribute to your subteam's pitch, but who was in charge of, for example, the costings for each team?

We had several ideas but then i came up with the concept of 'Aliens Vs Dinosaurs' which developed into 'Aliens Vs Warriors', and everyone did decide this was our product, those who were present.

Sorry Carlisle, but something major had occured, something which none of my team were allowed to know about until Anactoria came back so yeah.

Sorry just got on now, was at college.

I thought Justin was a good PM. He was easy to contact a lot of the time and was, like Zak said, just like a team member and not too controlling. He came up with the basis of our idea and we all (bar Katie) formed the rest of the idea together.

As for problems with pitches, I got cut off from my pitch with Zak near the end due to things out of my control, which I am apologetic about but I feel a did a good job of writing the pitch with Zak as well as answering the questions I was around for.

Naruto and I took primary charge of cost research and pricing of products.

I took on the job of finances and costings, i wasnt delegated it but no-one else wanted to do it so i took the job on.

EDIT : And Justin helped and contributed to it too. (I forgot)

I'd just like to add to that, I was obviously not planning not to pitch, me and Gav decided we would pitch to Kevin on Monday which would give us time to merge both our ideas when I got back (Sunday night/Monday morning) however after I went offline Kevin said he couldn't do Monday.

Although me and Gav did have a discussion on what to include in our pitch, which I felt helped a little.

At the end of the day, as PM, I put trust in my sub-teams to organise meetings. Sub teams had to be shifted around the Harry ended up having to pitch solo. I don't think you can pass the buck for him pitching alone on to me 'not organising it well enough'.

I made sure the entire team knew EXACTLY what was going on through a sequence of private messages. Gav came to me with issues of Kevin being unable to pitch earlier today so he asked to switch with Harry (who was originally set to pitch, with Val, to Amy). It was Gav's idea to swap and although I could have stepped in to stop that, Harry seemed to happy to pitch alone and as I said in a group conversation (and you were present, too), people have in real life things going on all the time. We cannot delay the task for one person - it's a team effort.
