Hello, just was putting up about the new iPad that I went on a 24 month contract with Three getting 15GB data a month for £29. And only £99, up front.

Any feedback on Three as a company I have been with Orange, o2 and Vodafone but never really been near Three. I see that their signal is quite patchy in some areas. Although I do understand that they are only a 3G network.

I though it was a pretty good deal.

Got a similar deal with the Ipad2 last year. No issues with signal for me. I actually drive a 56 mile round trip (mix motorway and city driving) whilst listening to internet radio on the Ipad2 and signal never drops. Can't say the same about O2 , for the same trip signal drops 9-10 times.

Works for me...

If you can get good signal where you need it, they're great; if you can't get good signal you're screwed. Simples.

You probably should have tested the network on a payg basis before getting tangled into a 24 month contract.

I had a PAYG dongle with them before and the signal was ok not the best but not the worst either.

If you have used them before and know what they are like already why ask for thoughts on the company? You must have been happy enough with them to sign up to a 2 year contract with them

I only used them briefly while my Internet wasn't work. I was only asking people's experiences, you don't have to comment if you don't wish.

That makes the new iPad a whopping £219 more expensive than the iPad 2! Is it worth that mush for a better camera and display along with a marginally better chip to cope with the display?

They're probably not the same iPad tier. The iPad 2 is probably the basic one whilst the new one offered is probably a higher one.
