Which of the big iconic bands do you loathe and why??

Of the big iconic ones? Can't say I dislike any... I can usually find a song or two from each that I like.

Are Bon Jovi considered to be iconic? If so, I can't stand them either.

I have to be honest but I PERSONALLY don't see anything about The Beatles.

I will answer about massive successful bands that I really don't like.

Coldplay

Bon Jovi by a long way. They for me are the epitomy of Corporate Rock.

I don't know if they are iconic enough but I think The Foo Fighters are really dull.

U2 of course.

The rolling Stones. I just loathe Mick Jagger.
U2. Loathe Bono with a passion.
Bon Jovi. All their songs sound the same.
Foo Fighters. Only remember one of their songs and I've heard their "greatest" hits a thousand times

There probably are many more "worse" bands, but in terms of big-name, commercially-succesful, critically-acclaimed bands, they stand out like a turd in Tiffany's.

Don't think so. I like some U2 tracks, just hate the band and I feel dirty when I listen to them.

i agree about bon jovi, i've only heard a few songs but i can't imagine the others are much better... i also think the foo fighters are kind of boring but i don't dislike them.

i do dislike oasis though, in fact i'm the same about most britpop bands apart from suede.
also the band you me at six, definitley not iconic but they are just rubbish!
