Leftover Beef
stairway

I have some cooked beef leftover from lunch, can anyone give me some recipes.

If I've spent a day cooking I usually just use the leftover beef in sandwiches (toms and a good horseradish mmm!) or a salad the next day. I suppose it depends how much you have left. A stirfry can make a little go a long way.

Agree with earthling; or mince it and make a cottage pie if there's enough. I have a childhood memory of my Mum mincing the left-overs of the Sunday roast on Mondays and making pies / burgers / rissoles.

Or you could make toad in the hole. I believe that originally this was made using chunks of meat left over from the roast, rather than sausages. You could revive the tradition!

stir fry it with veggies, add some spices and eat it with wraps = fajitas

I always make beef stew with leftover beef joints. Its a cheap dinner.

Best thing if you have leftover potatoes and an onion is Stovies.

Make a really easy cream and smwhokegesin mustard sauce, slice the beef into strips, mix it all up and heat, serve with rice.

Depends on how much leftovers you have.
If you have plenty then you could make a cottage pie.
If you don't have that much then a stew.
Or maybe pies or pasties.
