HTC Sensation Update

Ok, so my phone has been pestering me to update for days and last night I finally succumbed to its demands and updated it. Big mistake.

I like the update for the new-found clarity and cleaner transitions from portrait to landscape but that is about it. It has royally screwed up my contacts and my signal seems to be disappearing all the time.

All of my Facebook linked contacts no longer have their pictures or any updates on their contact (even though I have synced it twice).

Is there some unreported bugs or am I missing something? I have tried manually linking people, but that doesn't work either. In terms of my new crappy signal, not really loving it either as it seems to be at its worst in my house.

Oh the joys of updating technology, I knew I should have carried on ignoring the update, pscht.

Any advice would be fabulous!

Sadly I can't offer you any advice either as I have got exactly the same problem on Samsung Galaxy S2 with Facebook linked contacts no longer showing their pictures after updating to ICS.

My XE is working fine with facebook contacts since the 4.0 update. Have you tired deleting the account off the phone and then re-enabling it?

I noticed my phone has asked me to link a few things since the update. Opened Skype for the first time this morning and I had that "do you want to link these contacts" icon appear.

try opening facebook signing out and signing back in. That's what jogged my phone into life with both skype and viber. Hadn't noticed Facebook because I wasn't logged in before the update and it was the first thing I logged back into once the update was complete, so it may have synced it'self.
