Mrs. Bleads has been having thar recently with blackcurrant cordial. Puts her in a foul temper.

Anything other than just water and some ice cubes is plain wrong and indeed would deservedly get you beaten up if you tried to order it in France.

Neat but preferably with water - it never gives me a hangover or makes me sick.

Only ever had it in cooking. I think always with fish & fennel.
Ouzo is a different matter though....
