I receive a newsletter from Holy Moly each week and last week they got the songchoices right. I have just seen this weeks list from them and I hope they are not right as you will soon see:
Tabby - Addicted To Love
Voices With Soul - Amazing Grace
Cassie - Say A Little Prayer
Roweta - Somewhere Over The Rainbow
2 To Go - Ive Had The Time Of My Life
Steve - Smile
G4 - Hit Me Baby One More Time

Some of the choices left me speechless and I am now convinced that Louis is working for Simon Cowell if this turns out to be true.
It will be interesting to compare anyway when the songchoices are revealed tonight.

Most of these could be genuine apart from G4 tht would just be weird and they would deffo go. I think Cassie and Rowetta should swap songs then it would be great

Louis must've heard the Travis version of Britney....

oh dear oh dear.

Surely after last week he'd give them a safe vote winner to bring back the fan base.

Wonder which 'smile' it is? The one off the chips ad or the Supernaturals?

I am hoping the same. HolyMoly are notorious wind up merchants so they may be wrong but they were 100% right last week. Maybe just the G4 choice is wrong. Thats what I am hoping anyway. The rest sound about right.

yep...if this is true..then G4 could be going home.....would be interesting to see 2 to go sing a faster song, and VWS to sing a slow song....interesting!!

She has a fabulous voice and would do the song excellently, but i think they may have got her and rowetta mixed up

Remember this has not been confirmed so it might be a lot of rubbish. Thats what I am hoping anyway.

.....it has to be a wind-up - l00% .....maybe they have been on these boards and seen all the speculation by us G4 fans. Surely not even Louis Walsh would do this to them.......would he

After seeing Darius do this on PopStars, I really do believe Louis would be asking for trouble by doing this to G4. I am hoping its all a load of rubbish. But if it is correct then prepare for an anti-Louis onslaught tonight.

They DID sing Oasis, and they are trying to make them more 'pop' so it is more than possible.

........I honestly can`t see G4 agreeing to sing a song of that calibre - if they all refused to do it then they would HAVE to change it. They must have had SOME input surely. When someone hears for definite on tonight`s X Factor can they please let us know - in the meantime I am going to drown my (anticipated) sorrows in a few glasses of red

If true then Cassie and Rowetta have made the best choices IMO, I can see them both doing great.

Its not them choosing the songs though. Its the judges.

I'm not keen on the choice for Rowetta, I've never been a great fan of the song itself but I hope she does it well!

2 To Go have picked a very safe song, that might save them this week. If that G4 track is for real, I think they're for the chop!

I know I'm evil, but if that's true, I can't WAIT to see G4 sing Baby One More Time ....Does anyone know what the song 'Smile' is? I'm not quite sure! Like the choices for everyone really, except I think VWS might have too much volume to sing Amazing Grace nicely...looking forward to the show!

It could be the "come up and see me, make me smile" song or "you gotta smile (smile) smile (smile) smile (smile), you gotta smiii-hi-ile" song.

hope this helps!

Thanks for the suggestions high_life! I was thinking of the 'come up and see me, make me smiiile' one but OHMYGOSH I LOVE the Nat King Cole one, it's the 'smile though your heart is aching...' one....WOW! I think I'm gonna have the kleenex out tomorrow! Lol! Thanks for that Glenski! WOW Steve!

There's also a soppy ballad which goes: "Smile though your heart is aching, smile though it must be breaking"...

I think Steve will do the Steve Harley(?) "Smile" IF any of this is true, that is!

ahhh, glad to see like minded people who can remember random lyrics but not titles and artists

Thanks for the clarification though Glenski. I think G4 will have to pull off something outstanding to not firmly put themselves in the novelty act bracket.

Would imagine that 'Smile' would be the Nat King Cole (King of Soul) version - hence the dig about winding Sharon up.

If this is true - think that choices are good for Tabby (sexy song for sex on legs) Rowetta (did a wonderful version in the auditions), VWS (their genre), Steve (safe) and Cassie (she'll walk it).

Average and predictable choice for 2 to Go

Hilarious choice for G4.

G4 Would sing happy birthday Mr. President in fulll Maralyn drag if they thought it would advance them and they may be stupide enough to believe Louis telling them it would.
If it is right then my prediction is coming true, Louis getting rattled by Simons comments of last week has decided instead of going for the safer option, just to show Simon, he has chosen an even more contemporary song.

If 2 to go sound anyway half decent
Bye Bye G4
