This year I belive that we'll have the most boring Final 5 -

1.Gabrielle - LS clearly likes her. I think she's too "arty" & she is not commercially astute (proven in Week 4)
2. Tom - apart from winning Week 4 task, and giving comments here & there, I don't know what he does (he's quite invisible).
3. Ricky (I think LS quite likes him too)
4. Jade
5. Laura or maybe even Jenna (one of them would be like "Natasha" from last year).

Honestly, I don't really care. This year is bad. It's already Week 6 and many candidates still have not proven that they are good enough. Last year, only Helen who was invisible up to Week 5.

Not very well! Katie was another strong contender, Most of those who predicted after Week 4 had her and Duane so are down to three picks and we still have another 5 firings until we meet the Final Five!

It's Tom, Gabrielle, Ricky, Nick and Jade for me, with the first four being in the final and the winner being one of the first two.

I know Gabrielle is commercially naive but so was Tom Pellereau last year. The more important thing for me (as I've said both elsewhere here and on my blog) is that she is an architect and designer - and what's Sugar's biggest business these days? AmsProp - his property empire. There's a good fit here, which makes Gabrielle an interesting prospect for Sugar, which is probably why he's been so gentle on her so far.

I'm surprised I had put up Katie, to be honest. But it is hard to call this year, mainly because of the flip-flop edits. It changes each ep. Purely after this ep, I can see Gabrielle going soon and Tom/Ricky/Jenna making f5 with Jade and Nick. But even Jade may not make it if her probable PMing next week doesn't go well. Haha.

All I can say is I did not expect that firing yesterday at all.

Shuggs seems to like Gabrielle, he tends to go easy on her in the boardroom. Jade and Tom are dark horses though because we don't know much about them they may end up making some tremendous mistake and being fired on the back of that. Ricky's been loud but more impressive than I expected. And I think Laura will sneak in but doesn't have a shot at winning.

Nearly everyone down to three candidates (week 4 predictions) just haz_cat, Carlisle156 & myself have only lost one candidate!

The weakest candidates to me are now Jade and Stephen. Althought LAS has had two good opportunities to fire Jade and has kept her in so there may be something there. Interestingly Adam is emerging as a stronger contender due to some affinity with LAS rather than any particular competence (other than selling). No one has him down and only three firings to go until the final five are revealed!

Looks like most of us got Duane and/or Katie wrong so far.

Sorry OP shouldn't have missed off your original prediction! my apologies for the oversight. In compiling the results I just went with the week four predictions. (before the keep fit episode) I did mention this so as not to offend anyone who guessed later. Had to have a cut off somewhere. Most people had duane down so wouldnt be fair to compare their original predictions with say for example supersnakes one which had the benefit of knowing duane was gone.... imo anyway!

At this stage there are only three firings until final five (not sure how many episodes this will be in as we've still got 8 candidates and only 4 episodes left. ) so I think we should start having a go at predicting final 3??
