I've been on Vodafone for nearly 5 years and I've become fed up of the terrible service so I'm thinking of moving to Three because of the Add ons like All You Can Eat Internet.

Is three any good these days and is the internet good?

I just recently joined three on there pay monthly contract the one plan and so far the service has been excellent ,I would check coverage for your area on there website first though just to be on the safe side, Three seem to offer the best value for pay as you go top up £15 and you get 300 mins 3000 texts and all you can eat data the only thing that's not included is tethering. As for there internet I get hspda+ connection just about everywhere and have been able to achieve 9mb download speeds so,far

Vodafone "Terrible service" ? No surely can't be right they have fantastic coverage . Yesterday I went to Brymbo and even out in the sticks is was full signal strength -- pretty much all of the UK is good . What problems do you have ?

If you jump ship I bet you are back soon !

Well, personally I find Three's internet excellent, and it's coverage I find to be either the strongest or the most reliable... or both. Your mileage may vary however, so it's best to check coverage first which you can do at this link; http://www.three.co.uk/Support/Coverage

As for customer service I find them ok, if a tad slow, but I tend to email them with anything complex which has avoided any problems to date. In fact, they've consistently been better than Vodafone customer service were for me when I was with them, so make of that what you will.

They used to have good signal where I am but now it keeps cutting out for long periods and I find the £10 Text and Web freebee of 300 texts and only 500mb of internet a bit rubbish compared to Three's £15 top up which gets you 3000 texts, 300 minutes and truly unlimited internet.

I was on Three before I moved to Vodafone and it was really good quality but moved when i got a new PAYG phone which was only available Vodafone now ive decided to move back and I've requested an unlock code for my current phone from Vodafone.

the customer service is the only thing that is good about Vodafone these days.

If it was good before on Three, it probably still is good. You can check out deals on Talk Mobile too, that runs on the Vodafone network so you can put their sim in your current phone without it needing to be unlocked.

Also many phones can be unlocked more cheaply online or at an independent phone shop than getting the code direct from Vodafone.
