Duane? Too cocky?

I found him very selfish tonight when he put himself forward as PM at least give people who have not been PM's a chance

Yes I think he also wants to win. How selfish, especially when there are other people there who would like to win too.

Why shouldn't he put himself forward? He was hardly preventing anyone else form doing so and in the end some one else got it. What a preposterous criticism: candidte in The Apprentice tries to shine

I don't like him. He was quiet in the boardroom though. I am wondering about his sales skills as well. We did not see much of him this episode.

He's my favourite. I thought he was a great team leader last week. I think he has very good people skills, calm, full of ideas and a good personality.

His edit is the strongest out of all 12 contestants, he has everything to go the final 4 or 3

Sussed out Laura from the start!! Yes he's a contender for the final 4 too!! (Might have won it for the team too)

I like Duane but, was surprised that he put himself forward again as TL. He does seem to be getting favourable edits which leads me to suspect that like Helen last year he'll be the "shock" loser in the final.

Selfish? But a) it's a competition and b) what stops the others from putting themselves forward? All could put themselves forward and take a vote but hey, only two put themselves forward and one won on the majority of votes. Fair play, IMO.

Duane is one of my favourites too. I like him because he speaks up and is not afraid to stick his neck out as well as being a good team player.

Did he stop anyone from volunteering? I am betting the team wished they had selected him now. I dont see how this can be described as arrogant..... or cocky.

Duane is a inept imbecile, and is deluded in that he thinks he has some sort of talent at business when in fact his talent is his lack of talent.

This is a guy who can barely put a sentence together and certainly has no business skills, or any other skills I can detect.

When he was team leader he was struggling to get a grip on some simple production issues and didn't seem capable of absorbing useful information from Jane. I suspect that absorbing any moderately complicated information is beyond him.

Imbecile Completely out of order there Floss. Didn't he win when he was project manager? I suppose that makes him amazing what with his inability to speak or comprehend For the record I understand he is educated to degree level and has founded his own drinks distribution company.

Yesssssss, he did win when he was project manager? So? The team won despite him not because of him, Jane pulled the team to success.

He was so inept at organising and taking heed of Jane's warnings regarding production issues that the team ended up with no product to take to the wholesalers. He seemed unable to absorb the useful information and direction that Jane was giving.

His delusional tendencies were brutally exposed when he was so intent on projecting a positive spin to his team on the quality of the team's first chutney that he consumed some of the chilli death chutney, ignored what his taste buds were telling him, and then attempted to articulate how wonderful the chutney was as it tore at his insides and removed his power of speech. What an idiot.

He thinks, like so many inept delusionals, that being blindly positive about everything is a substitute for business acumen, rational thought, problem solving skills and intellect.

The guy is an imbecile, and he will crash and burn very shortly because of his shortcomings, and as he suffers he will undoubtedly believe the blame lies with everyone but his dim-witted self.

If he has a degree, it must be in sports science or David Beckham studies.

And yet both Duane and Jane was on the losing team and it was the 'great Jane' who got fired!! Speaks volumes about Jane's contribution to date, doesn't it??

And Duane's no imbecile.....a good team player/PM who hasn't put a foot wrong so far....jane on the other hand, well......!!

You seem to believe that life is fair, and I have news for you, and please don't cry, it isn't.

The topsy turvy process of the Apprentice can be brutally unfair and subject the worthy to an unworthy fate. Minor deficiencies can be amplified in freak circumstances and make someone who is generally competent appear to be incompetent, and conversely someone is inept can be carried on by fate and not be challenged or made to leave their narrow comfort zone. Many an inept candidate has travelled far in the process by virtue of fate, and so it is with Duane and the blonde-haired market seller moron Adam, who will burn in hell with a spike up his bottom if there is any justice.

Bit harsh but anyhow, now the innumerate Jane has gone who's your fave?

Errmmmmmmm ....... well Gabrielle Omar, Katie Wright, Nick Holzherr,Tom Gearing, and Azhar Siddique seem to be the pick of the rather poor bunch, and I have yet to form an opinion of Jade Nash who seems to be anonymous.
