I've never thought Taylor Swift didn't sound good, nor do I think she sounds any different than usual on this record. She's not my sort of thing, but her talent I've never questioned. The less said about the ever-becoming-generic rap part the better.

I don't know about Buble, and its possible Taylor Swift is nasally, yet she's shifted the odd-million sales, so she can't sound all that bad. Then again, I do have a bit of a crush on her, so I am more used to looking at her, than listening to her.

Cute is an understatement. She genuinely comes across as a very nice girl. That Kayne West moment was heartbreaking. Also, in today's music industry, someone who writes all their own songs and music, can play instruments and is not auto-tuned or miming to death, should be applauded, regardless if either of us like her music.

Taylor gets plenty of applause for all those things you have listed, normally from the biggest stars on the planet. She is a very unique talent who will have a very long career.
The west incident just made taylor stronger and helped open her music up to everyone world wide, while for poor kayne all he got was abuse from artists of all music genres, outside wests fanbase it will be the one and only thing he will be remembered for, pretty sad really.
I dont like this collaboration, taylor dont really need to be doing this sort of stuff, messing around with any old tin pot artist dont always work in you favour. Her collaboration with the civil wars was far better ,maybe the difference being she intially wrote the song where i guess with this one she had little input to the music but if it helps this rapper sell music then guess they both win, just dont want taylor getting a reputation of teaming up with any tom, dick or harry.
I would love to see her team up with Bruce Springsteen and write a real rocking song, bruce is a big fan of taylor so you never know.

Ye i thought that was a bad dream, not good news and her constant attachment to bieber, gomaz and the like is one of the things taylor needs to drop if she is to be really classed as one of the all time greats in years to come. Being friends with them is fine but thats where she should leave it. Think they are gonna sing one of taylors penned songs so not sure if they are gonna write together, not even sure if bieber can write songs anyway.

Thats one of taylors weak points, she is just too nice, but she has always been her own person so she will do what she wants and wont really care what critics or anyone says.

shes not a unique talent as she produces generic pop country however she does write her own stuff, like adele which is to be applauded, she gets less applause from the biggest artists than adele for her stuff and kanye west although a complete clown will be remembered for far longer than taylor swift as an innovator who has produced new and excting music, something that taylor swift has been unable to do yet

Actually someone sent me the link as a new music leak. Regardless of how I view any one singer, music is my hobby and I'll listen to anything at least once.

And this song will probably do very well. It's got vanilla rap and America's sweetheart mixed together for a safe, nothing new, generic song. The tired words are tepid at best but white folks will think they're edgy for listening to a black rapper pounding his chest to these pandering lyrics. Sounds like the perfect summer confection right here.

She sounded better on Safe and Sound she sounded mature and thoughtful on that this is well not all that great.

I really don't get this song at all. I like B.O.B aswell but I really dislike this and think it's one of the worse songs she has ever been involved in. Lyrics of Taylor's part baffles me.

This whole thing has come from bob appearing with T as a special guest at one of her shows, on the US leg of her tour every night she had a different artist sing a song with her, based on the location the concert was at, guess they thought it went well to get together.

i think its more likely she is branching out civil wars now BOB next Beiber all with different fans and music its a shrewd bit of marketing on her part she cant be playing the same songs for the rest of her career but still say safe and sound is way better.

She has some down time and is of course using her incredible talent as a songwriter to help other artists, she is a lady in big demand and it keeps her in the public eye, and the mash with bob has almost certainly come from the get together at her concert. I just dont want her to make a habit of it otherwise she will get a reputation. Once she gets in the studio to put her new album together along with the tour for it all this mashing with other artists will stop.
