^^^ Exactly that. No point in his fans blaming us if we're eye-rolling and questioning the motivation behind everything he does. Personally, I think he's so far down the self-absorbed, delusional media whoring road and listening to yes men (and women) that he no longer has any real concept of how badly he comes across. And no, his management works for him. If he didn't like what 'they've turned him into' (*cough*bullshit*cough*) then all he has to do is say no, and insist on a new plan.

His brand of 'altruism' has himself at the centre of it, where the main benificiary is Peter Andre.

If he cared he would of got the dogs back as soon as he could.. He has also used his brothers illness to boost his saintly image yet I haven't seen him do anything for cancer charities.. Just talks about it but not actually do anything... I've just lost a family member to cancer and we had a charity night this week to raise money. It's all about doing not talking

Robin was very generous with his talent.

Odd that PA wouldn't have enough insight into his own 'talent' and how he and his 'music career' is now perceived to realise that him releasing a charity record is probably not in the best interests of the charity.

Yes he was and if he wrote a song for someone to use, and they are for his charity it's very churlish IMO to denigrate Robin's talent and choice of who he gave the song to. I'm sure the charity would benefit and surely that should be the main thing

You seem confused. Neither Robin Gibb's talent nor choices are in question, as you well know.

But I understand why it's easier for you to come at it from that angle since coming at it from the PA angle is problematic, what with him not being able to hold a note and being a self-serving opportunist.

No, 'prejudices' relate to unreasonable, preconceived, non-fact based opinion. All my opinions are fact-based - on what PA himself says and does. Which is precisely why I think he wouldn't do a charity record justice. Poor singing voice, poor self-serving attitude and not remotely inspiring.

The reality is, his songs don't sell well. In and out of the chart in a week if he is lucky. He does not have the musical fanbase to do a charity song justice.

We also are well aware that he will use anything and exploit any situation in order to try and sell them. Unsuccessfully.

Very true. There is nothing he won't exploit- his kids, his ex, his brother's cancer and now Robin Gibb's death. It's very transparent and disgusting.
