Video Sender.....which one?
Guys
I need to buy a video sender - 5.8ghz as my current 2.4ghz is slowly dying what with all the interference. Can anyone reccommend a solid sender with IR remote control? Had a look all over Amazon, Maplin etc, and can see quite an array for around the £40-50 mark but was curious if anyone has recently purchased one they can reccommend. Cheers! |

I replaced my old 2.4GHz one a couple of years back with a 538GHz one from Maplin. So, no wi-fi interference now but the receiver still loses signal / gets interfence from the LCD TV so I have to move it as far away from it as the leads allow. And the direction aerial is very sensitive to slight changes in position.
TBH I am thinking of moving onto an HDMI sender or even biting the bullet and putting in the cabling to get an HDMI feed upstairs (I understand a pair of ethernet cables can be used for this with the appropriate kit?). |

I thought of "wiring" a solution in as well, but cannot be arsed with the hassle of doing so.
It seems alot of these "directional" senders are very sensitive. Thinking of buying one from Maplin so I can return it if needs be. |
