A new song from BOB's upcoming album has leaked and it is the Taylor swift collab

Any thoughts?

Some random collabs do work. This is a major fail personally. Just awful.

I don't think this collab works at all, it sounds disjointed. This is no 'Airplanes'.

I don't think it's bad at all actually It's not a masterpiece, but it's a decent collaboration. I understand the "disjointed" comment, but I think this is what makes the song work actually. I think it's cool

It sounds like a mash-up more than a collaboration to me, I like it though.

Not keen. Her best collaboration so far imo was Safe and Sound with the amazing The Civil Wars - they brought out the best in her and helped give her a much more mature sound.

Taylor does not really need to be teaming up with any old tin pot artist on the planet doing this sort of thing, dont really like the song at all, taylor should stay clear of doing this sort of thing as she will start getting an unwanted reputation. Concentrate on your own music taylor, thats all you need to do

It's really great but I hate Dr. Luke....the drums sound exactly the same as Rihanna's You Da One on B.O.B's parts right up to the little perc taps....sooo lazy. Brilliant song though and the first time that I haven't been bored to tears by Taylor.

Wasn't Dr Luke one of the producers who ruined avril lavigne's career

I don't know about that but he has a habit of recycling the same songs over and over again tbh

She's obviously done this for a reason - maybe she isn't as perfect as what you think.

The reason is because he appeared with her as an on stage guest artist at one of her shows on her speak now tour, guess he wanted her talent on one of his songs and taylor being the nice person she is said yes.

See it's already got white people trying to sound black. I'm just kidding with you btw!
This song will do well in America. Right up there with Justin Bieber and One Direction this summer. I think Taylor sounds better here, I really do. It's only two lines but it's a start. As for BOB. Dude, wtf with the lyrics? Hooking the suburbs, I guess I understand but still. It feels like a sell out. Is TS a co-writer? That makes sense. These are patty cake, tired, over used, meaningless words that lost their effect long ago. It smacks of pandering to sell an album. Whatever works for you but dude, it's a little embarrassing. What do the boys think?

Still, the hook is catchy and it's safe enough for parents to let the tweens feel gangster. But yeah, everybody needs to chill with the hate. I swear if my kid starts talking like this...

I know she is massive and huge etc but she isn't really big outside of a certain age group perhaps this is her attempt at branching out and reaching a wider audience people who usually wouldn't listen to or know her music really add Beiber to that list that is alot of exposure calculated move Swift

Well Bruce is a legend he has never met, but who needs hubby for a good word, bruce is a big fan of taylors and in the future maybe he will use taylor to boost his career if he find it flagging , it would be the the coolest thing on earth to see. maybe he will be one of taylors special guests at one of her shows on her next tour.

You are going to be waiting a long time, as if he is going to call her, she does collabs with b.o.b and beiber. she is aimed at the teen market and most of her fans wouldnt have the slightest clue who bruce springsteen is.

See thats where you are very, very wrong thats just a prefabricated opinion naive music fans in the UK have of taylor.

Taylor is not aimed by anyone at any market whatsoever.

Exactly the more people she works with the more she'll gain a larger fan base not just her core audience and contingent i think its a good move her doing this it shows more versatility and its surprising and unexpected plus whilst away she is still around but not over exposed its just not that good a song but could have been worse could have been chris brown a duet and black eye all in one go

I think her fan base is large enough, and she has real fans not the fly by night supermarket randoms that some chart pop part artists have.
It all shows just what a talent Taylor is that so many people wanna work with her but I am sure she is well aware that its just something on the side to keep her busy, the real stuff starts when she goes into the studio and works on the most anticipated album of 2012.

I personally have no problem with Taylor working with a diverse array of artists aslong as they are credible and the material is good. This one is awful and will do nothing to further her career, it will keep most of her fans happy and repay B.o.B for appearing on her tour.

I'll be glazing over this and move on to album four which promised to be special.

Yes true enough but doesn't help to make new fans either that to me is what makes a great artist someone who is able to appeal to all people no matter how far along they go its about progression and versatility which i have seen with safe and sound and this (though the song is not good) but hey ho another interesting and surprising duet to add to the multitude of others and one i certainly never saw coming
