I'll be glazing over this and move on to album four which promised to be special.”

Problem is taylor will start to get a reputation with working with non creadible artists, bieber, gomaz for example. Personally i would rather her concentrate on her own music, she dont really need to farm her talent out to lesser artists at this moment in time, it dont have no real impact on her future career as these mashes are here today and gone and forgotten about tomorrow. Anyone who is anyone in the music industry knows taylor incredible talent, working with a few lightweights wont make a lot of difference to her apart from her bank balance.

Most great artists very rarely appeal to everyone, as they are normally blockedholed in a specific genre of music.
I have no problems taylor doing these mashes as long as there is a reason, guess the bob and bieber ones are favours but i dont wanna see her being know as someone who does this on a regular basis.

I suppose i get what you mean its like Kate Bush is marmite (but my fave) but 30 years later is still gathering new fans and appealing to a new audience which is what i meant as they move along they pick up people that then go with them rather than stick to a core contingent like beliebers it wont end well people grow up move on and its just stretching her musical wings i see it as trying something unexpected after 3 albums getting out of her comfort zone

Agreed! My heart sank a little when I read she has a writing credit on Biebers new album. Consider the business head she has on her I really don't know why she would do something like that at this stage of her career.

Onwards and upwards though! Plenty more amazing things to overshadow these minor blips.

It's not actually the same, but yes, they are similar. They're also similar to the beat in Nicki's part and the bridge of the Till the World Ends remix. It's urban music.

Dr. Luke does remake essentially the same song alot. He's remade Tik Tok like 20 times I swear. But he's done loads of great stuff that doesn't touch the charts. I think he's actually a very versatile producer. There's worse out there (e.g. RedOne, David Guetta, etc.).

I was trying to look for the song on youtube but they had all been taken down. I came across this boy (he's 14 apparently) singing the chorus with his own verses, prefer it to the original tbh.

its rather uninspired nonsense to be honest. some cross genre collaborations have worked well in the past, the best being in my opinion was `stan` by eminem and dido. this seems very second rate in comparison.
