The Voice is definitely a reality behemoth and that's a phenomenal figure for it. The BBC now have the power to move The Voice later, knowing Britain's Got Talent is not strong enough to fight it. Not that Britain's Got Talent disgraced itself whatsoever; it still did well and both shows should see an increase next week with the lack of a clash - presumably Britain's Got Talent more so.
The Cube had a 10m+ lead in and bareky managed 4m. I dread to think how it'll crumble next week. The BBC One filler performed very well in comparison with Casualty nearing 5m. The Million Pound Drop Live is nosediving and would benefit from longer gaps between series. The boxing recorded a decent figure for Channel 5 as did CSI: NY despite the assumed lack of crossover between shows. More Talent did very well or ITV2. Maybe the BBC should think of doing something for The Voice - that'd be an interesting one for ITV to contemplate.

It sounds okay to me considering there was no Manchester United or Arsenal or Chelsea or LIverpool or Tottenham on the programme. Only Manchester City and Sunderland featured from the top half of the league. And Sunderland was a crappy 0-0 home draw against bottom-by-a-mile Wolves. (A

The nature of the show means they couldn't do extra auditions on BBC3 like ITV2 do, but I suppose they could do something similar to the live shows and chat to the contestants put through and have guests etc.
P.S. Titanic flopped on ABC last night - 4.11m viewers across it's three hour airing (0.8/3 in the demos)

Sadly they're only being quizzed on their two TV shows so this is probably an all-time low for ITV Sunday night in their entire 57 year history. Here's hoping this is reflected in really rubbish ratings.

It won't work in the UK. The show leans heavily on SYTYCD alumni in both dancers and choreographers. Seeing the UK version flopped, it won't work. I could see it working in the US if they get the right amount of SYTYCD alumni in, though SYTYCD uses them for their all star pairings, so it might be overkill. Love the show though.

The only reason they scheduled it was because it was something which would be easy to pull. Shame they just didn't go for a repeat of Family Fortunes or The Cube though. Would've been more tasteful.
It's also scheduled to start at 8pm. I guess it was always going to be late in starting and ITV just kept it at 8pm to make it look neat.

What's wrong with a You've Been Framed special?
I'm watching the Oliviers streaming and while it's good, it pales in comparison to its US equivalent, the Tonys which may be why it's not broadcast on BBC Two or BBC Four, maybe if they revamped it to be more like the Tonys, the BBC would be more likely to air it on BBC Two or even BBC One.
So Chelsea vs Liverpool - with a 5:15pm. If I was BBC, I would probably start The Voice at 7:15pm on that night. Difficult though, as extra time and penalties could mean the final wouldn't finish until ~8pm.

Isn't May 5th the final Britain's Got Talent audition show, as the semi finals start on the 6th? There could be another clash approaching.

ITV also need to decide whether to try and keep viewers around and lead them straight into BGT or to invite viewers to leave the channel for an hour or so. With a presentation to do - and it being the FA Cup - ITV can't do a quick wrap up so even without extra time/penalties they're probably looking at a 7.45pm finish at the earliest.

Add 20ish Pro 12 games, and you get 32. {and that excludes games on S4C, not part of BBC.
