Not surprised - and a bit relieved as my diary was looking unworkable. But I will miss the characters.

The priority has got to be Call the Midwife so it's for the best I think.

Yes using BBC patented spin techniques, I can say that ITV have announced no second series of Titantic. Its for the best, Julian can concentrate now 100% on Downton.

Looks like about 25 pages of rubbish about Saturday night to read. All I know is that BBC1s dirty tricks dept has been running again. Quelle surprise.

Next Saturday at 6.30pm:
BBC1 - My Family (repeat)
BBC2 - Dad's Army (repeat)

Er,,, you sure you wouldn't like to consider a swapsy, BBC?

What's that you say, BBC2? Oh - "Get back and hands off. I've got a bayonet and I'm not afraid to use it."

Meanwhile.....

Next Saturday at 9.30pm
ITV1 - Benidorm (repeat)

So BBC1 could have gone:
7.00 The Voice Live
8.30 Lottery Draws
8.40 Casualty
9.30 The Voice Results Live

Clearly the BBC are scheduling The Voice Results to boost the ratings for Sunday night but if loads of people have seen already seen the result on the internet and the results programme is down 20% on where it would have been if it was shown live (as someone said happen with a pre-recorded results programme abroad) then is the boost to Sundays worth it?

Sounds like BGT was down week-on-week too. A weird one, probably will have to look at the shares to see what happened.

I have a feeling that it's because The Voice's auditions are over but, like you say, we need to look at the shares! I think the peaks will be interesting too!

Hodges' tweet suggests even the massaged augmented BGT figure was behind Voice (he usually adds excl +1 if it not)

Hodges is probably just taking advantage of Mike Large running the marathon. Before you allege ITV have gone into hiding

Wonder what effect The Voice's "accidental" overrun had on the figures.

So no end to the negative press reports for Simon Cowell just yet.

Everything down last night, anyone got any idea why?
Weather reports would be helpful, but I can tell you in Glasgow it was ****ing dreadful. Sunny but raining. The weather trolled us!

Ratings? Well the excitements gone a bit lol, just some standard ratings for both shows really.

BGT being THAT low though...why?
Seriously, thats a great peak from The Voice...BGT breakdown will be interesting...I didn't think last weeks or this weeks shows were enjoyable in anyway.

As predicted yesterday, though I expected both shows to be higher. I'd love to see a breakdown but I reckon the last half hour dented Talent.

Still two sets of strong figures, for all the gnashing, wailing and crowing which'll happen on here.

I can't speak for Glasgow but where I live pubs, clubs and cinemas tend to have roofs on them.

Hodges confirms a 9.9m to 9.3m victory for The Voice.

Big margin in the scheme of things considering BGT had the massive platform to build on!

Maybe it got affected by the battlerounds too

Am not sure what went on. It seems strange. As I say breakdowns might reveal a drop throughout BGT; otherwise...people didn't switch over for whatever reason.

(PS: Robbie has twitter and its not @lord_sugar!)

I'll be interested to see how The Cube did.

Well those ratings I didn't expect! I had a thought that maybe The Voice would possibly dip slightly as the weather in the south of the country was niceish. Headlines will say The Voice lost 800,000 but the big thing for me is that with no clash The Voice averaged higher and peaked higher than Britain's Got Talent. Nobody can blame that on a 20 minute overlap.

BGT as usual will add loads more in the official ratings.
