Thanks Pizza. There's been a couple of documentaries about hoarders recently which have rated really well. This one could've done well too against normal competition but BGT/Corrie will probably dent it quite a bit.

It was about Asian men grooming teenage girls for sex - and a lot of Asian men have recently been charged in Oxford for child prostitution, rape, forcing abortions etc recently. The court case I think is in June.

As it rated lower than the recent repeats of the celebrity ones, that goes against the comments on forums like this, when people say they are bored of celeb game shows and want normal people ones back.”

I don't think anyone on here has denied that the celebrity version has greater ratings potential overall. That doesn't mean to say a new series of 'normal' Millionaire wouldn't wipe the floor ratings wise with a good 80% of new entertainment formats commissioned by the broadcaster in the past 12 months, particularly in the genre of gameshows.

How many docs do we need on this subject in a relatively short period of time? A great example of overkill. Indeed, Channel 4 starts a whole series of 'The Hoarder Next Door' five nights prior to that BBC programme.

I suppose we'll get Silk the following week.

Where will the commissioners go next? Maybe a series about overweight hoarders: Broader Hoarders?

Might it be time for ITV1 to cancel Millionaire as 2.21 million is very poor, considering how popular this show was 10 years ago?

I've checked the programme info for that week on the BBC Media Centre, and the descriptions for the postponed Silent Witness have been removed, so it must be a repeat.

Its another exciting Champions League semi fianl right now. I know ratings for non British team matches this year havent been good but this might get 5million.

Anything would be more exciting than this series of The Apprentice. Even golf. And I hate golf.

Especially as the winners play Chelsea in the final.

Sensible scheduling by the BBC in my opinion. It makes far more sense to start EastEnders at the same time as Britain's Got Talent rather than half an hour into it.”

It is....Unusual for the BBC to see sense and move it to the right slot but given it's Bank holiday it should also get the News lead in should it not?

It seems to be a fairly big week aswell as .....Disaster Strikes
and there's an exit from a big character

Here's how all-foreign Champions League knockout matches have rated on ITV1 since 2005:

2005:
AC Milan v PSV Eindhoven: 3.6m... semi final 1st leg (2-0)

2006:
AC Milan v Lyon: 3.1m... quarter final 2nd leg (3-1, 3-1 agg)
AC Milan v Barcelona: 4.1m... semi final 1st leg (0-1)

2010:
Barcelona v Stuttgart: 3.1m... 2nd round 2nd leg (4-0, 5-1 agg)
Bayern Munich v Lyon: 3.0m... semi final 1st leg (1-0)
Barcelona v Inter Milan: 5.3m... semi final 2nd leg (1-0, 2-3 agg)

2011:
Real Madrid v Barcelona: 6.3m... semi final 1st leg (0-2)

2012:
Marseille v Inter Milan: 2.5m... 2nd round 1st leg (1-0)
Barcelona v Bayer Leverkusen: 3.1m... 2nd round 2nd leg (7-1, 10-1 agg)
AC Milan v Barcelona: 3.7m... quarter final 1st leg (0-0)

I can't see it rating as well as last year's El Classico match but 5-5.5m should be possible based on how the 2010 semi-final rated, especially if it goes to extra time.

ITV1
7.15 Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
8.00-10.00 Britain's Got Talent

At one point today BGT was moved to 7.30-9, results at 9.45. At this point the BBC moved TVUK to 7 to avoid BGT, and PEL running 7.35-9. So ITV moved BGT to 8, and the BBC went back to the planned schedule.

On Saturday:
BBC1
6.40 My Family
7.10 The Voice UK
8.40 In It to Win It
9.30 Casualty

ITV1
3.15 FA Cup Final
7.45 The Cube
8.45-10.15 BGT
”

We await the schedules for Saturday 12th May with trepidation and interest.

Waterloo Road jumped about 10 sharks tonight, will it survive it's move to Scotland, or have they pissed off viewers one time too many, the reaction on Twitter has been almost universally negative. Also by then whatever is on ITV at the same time will have a Coronation Street lead in which it make it even tougher.

As others have pointed out it was a repeat and did better than both High Stakes and The Exit List. It'll be interesting to see how the new non-celeb versions do this summer as without a doubt when it began focusing on celeb specials the show just lost it's soul - and hence it's viewers.

The 45-minute Britain's Got Talent edition on the Sunday seems a bit odd too - presumably it'll only be one pair that day, and can't see it being Cowell.

I bet ITV1 are really relieved that this year's Champions League final involves in English team, particularly one that has defied the odds and got through. I reckon Chelsea's heroics will pull in a very good audience on May 19th. Might be an ideal time to go shopping.

There cant be any more sharks left to jump.

Shows that your suggestions that ITV might as well throw in the towel when it comes Champions League rights was a bit premature!
