Number four is the most perfect song choice of all, on a surface level it could refer to johns literal absence but I doubt that is what Rabita means. Assuming John at least, feels how I think he feels, it's also about being broken by something, to such an extent you wish you could erase yourself but continuing to physically exist anyway even though you feel like your spirit has all but disappeared. Literally losing oneself to desolation and melancholy. A need to be alone because other people remind you that you are still in fact 'here' and it is 'happening'. That's what the song says to me anyway. I doubt John is still at that stage though.
I love Radiohead, Creep is the most perfect song ever! They seem to be all about conveying a feeling in a musical snap shot. It's not so much about the words as the feeling/sound. Not really light listening songs, not catchy but very deep.

See Josie's friend had her baby, he looks lovely :

Muddy I agree anywhere near Times Square is a great location. Stayed round the corner from there the last time, can't remember the hotel name though.
Hoping to go back next year when the Freedom Tower is finished so have taken a note of the other Hotels you ladies have recommended.
New York has an amazing atmosphere...love it.
Remember Josie got stuck in NY in that terrible snowstorm on her way to Mexico. One of the threadmates on here at the time offered to put her up but eventually found her a hotel.
She went with Nettie didn't she? Is it the same Jeannette that's just had the baby?

Thanks for the suggestion. I had a quick look last night and it was shocking the price of hotels in central New York!
