In the old days I used to get really annoyed that he ignored his fans and only responded to the "haters".
In hindsight I can now understand it.
Thank God for a few of our threadmates who keep him up to date on footie scores and other current events.
I never saw John as wanting blind adulation, think he wanted to be liked for his personality not his looks. And he has achieved that, as has Josie.x
