I know Kay, but Wendy and Bumble just posted the article with no comments so why couldn't they be left and just the nasties removed, it just seems a bit unfair, IMO different rules for each thread, I love seeing the scans because the mag doesn't come out here until Thursday

I think that once a thread brings itself to the attention of the mods - and you must admit in recent times there have been a lot of not very nice discussions in here - they are probably keeping an eye on it to make sure it doesn't erupt again.
I'm not sure that same level of 'not very nice discussion' happens in the two other ATs connected to the whole JJJ thing, so that's why their posts don't get deleted. I don't think posts ever get deleted in the JAT. The JJAT has had its problems in the past.
Any other JJJ related threads are not subject to quite the same strict rules that apply to ATs.

I think anyone who started their posting life in the JJJAT probably thinks of themselves as a JJJATer to some extent. Very few have disowned it completely. After all, it is what brought most of us together, where most of us met in the first place, and where most of us appreciated the whole JJJ thing at some point - and I for one still appreciate what I watched on the TV that summer nearly 2 years ago.
It is nobody's prerogative to say who should call themselves a JJJATer and who should not. There are people posting around DS who have posted in the JJJAT a lot longer than the current posters.

Whos saying that it's anyone's perogative - hey you've picked me up wrong - I'm sorry to say but that says more about you than me because in no way was I saying that anyone should be or not be a JJJater.

Oh look i mentioned Josie and believe it or not i was NOT dissing her.
I loved the way she got some words mixed up.
Also Josie has a great sense of humour and if she read that i know she would be the first to laugh.
So to any lurkers taking offence ......... tough.

I do find it strange though that other appreciation threads are allowed to discuss fm in a disparaging way accusing them of starting fb pages to empire build fan bases and that is allowed and yet this thread is so heavily moderated. I do think the rules should apply everywhere.

I was just discussing how you define a JJJATer and I know that there are some people here who would not consider a lot of people who used to post here as JJJATers. My definition was all inclusive

Finally finished the Cowell book it did buck up eventually especially the Sharon v Danni chapters. Despite Cowell manfully claiming how heterosexual he really is I have my doubts he is a tad vain and shallow but I guess I already knew that.
