REALLY good week this week, i think EVERY single person is in danger of being in the bottom 3 this week just because there was no obvious weak spot

Skylar - kellie Pickler (You Don't Know How Much I Loved You) - 7/10 strong performance but may get lost due to being first so could be in trouble

Colton - Skylar Gray (Love the Way you Lie) -8/10 another strong performance though i wish hed done his original choice of Breaking Benjamin which would have been a huge rock number; Beautiful vocals but a little bit sleepy for me think he may be in trouble this week

jessica - Jazmine Sullican (stuttering) -6.5/10 not a well know song choice, but the judges loved it as usual; I genuinely dont get the hype, she just reminds me of Pia! technically perfect but lacks connection with the audience; she would be in my bottom 3 if i had the power; Of course shes probably the safest of them all

Joshua - Bruno mars (Runaway Baby) - 7.5/10 im biased as i actually dislike this song but he was far more tolerable to me than he usually is so he was obviously good

Hollie - Pink (perfect) - 8/10 what ridiculous criticism from the judges this week! they were borderline rude to her, and i think she may get sympathy votes because of it; expect her in the B3 again though; Same thing as colton though, it was pretty sleepy so may get lost in the more powerful performances

Phillip - Maroon 5 (give a little more) -6/10 actually i change my mind, phillip was the weakest tonight; it was same old same old for phillip and i think he may start to lose the teen voters to Colton if he isnt careful; May be a shock b3 for Phillip though no way is he going home whatever happens

Elise - Lady Gaga (you and i) -7/10 i think this was a good performance, better than last week but not as good as her two previous weeks; she was a little flat in some places and tends to oversing but she certainly knows how to attack a song!! think shes still in danger though

Safe: Jessica

im expecting a all girl bottom 3; though phillip or colton coupld drop in there this week () although i think it may help them as long as theyre not bottom as it may mobilise their support; I think if James had dropped into B3 last season he would have made the final (i know that sounds daft but it does wake up the masses!!)

Colton: for me it was his best performance so far. 8/10
Joshua: liked to see him with more action, it was good, but not S.O good. 7/10
Skylar: she was good and she's a great performer. 7/10
Philip: agreed with Randy, loved the beginning, but the rest was meh. 6/10
Jessica: she's a great singer, but that doesn't mean whatever she does is great and last night I don't think she was. 6/10
Hollie: much better than last week. I wish the control she had was as great as her voice. 6/10

Hollie: This sounds bias but for me this was performace of the night people are saying Hollie is samey but I think the opposite loved the accustic arrangement don't think the judges comments have any credibilty anymore - 9/10

Colton a close 2nd place for performace of the night loved it - 9/10

Joshua Was nice seeing another side of Joshua this week I think he his a big contender for the finale 8/10

Elise For me this was the best Elise performace to date 8/10

Skylar Hate to say this but for me Skylar was the worst I knew she would get the Paul Mcdonald treatment this week (Week 5 pimp slot week 6 1st bad song) 4/10

Colton - Tonally/breathily he probably has the best voice left in the competition, and may be in with a chance if he concentrates on this quality, because a good tone/expression can make it to a Final, and even slay a technically-perfect Goliath. This was much more of a playing to his strengths IMO than those whiney/gurny vocals at the top of his range, possibly as a result of him being pigeonholed as this year's James Durbin when really he's a skinny-armed Cliff Richard whose idea of living dangerously is to experiment with hair bleach. He's not a bad looking lad, he seems an emotional type, and he should be continuing to emote like this to the heaving bosoms across TV land to garner their votes. Not pitch perfect, but it was good, a more mature and serious performance from him. Above all this divorced him from being the pretty boy faux rocker and made him more interesting.

Skylar - I still think she looks like Paula Abdul's gene-spliced child. A solid vocal, but she didn't stand out as much this week because last week's song was a 100 times the better song and she executed it really well, delivering a 'moment'. The best perspective to put on Skylar's ability is that last year a C&W girl managed to get to a yawnsome Final without having a single dazzling 'moment' along the way, she barely moved her lardy ass about the stage, only stamped her ample booted hoof as if every song was a bar's hoedown. To this day I've no idea what the hell happened. This 'ere Skylar is at least 10 times the better singer, and much more of an entertainer/performer - just not as pretty.

Jessica - simply A1. When I listen to this girl, and consider her attitude, her boldness, the dressing to kill, her phrasing, and her choice of current/urban songs it reminds me of what some people possibly saw in X Factor's Misha B, but without the snarly tone, the juvenile raps, the puppy fat and the bad press. I'd buy her CD.

Phillip - although J-Lo described this as underwhelming, I rather liked it, it may even be my favourite from him during the Lives. He wasn't singing/is it shouting at the top of his voice or looking like an angry young man because of the strain involved, and this less forced performance showcased more of the tonal nuances of his voice, reminding listeners that his is the most unique-sounding voice in the competition, even if he is nowhere near the best singer technically. We even got one tiny note of (weak) falsetto, something I hope he works on developing as he doesn't have much of a range and that is what makes all his songs sound the same. I'm not sure he was right on the pitch throughout, I may be wrong because I'm unfamiliar with the song, but certain parts sounded odd. The main thing this performance delivered was something vocally different, when for many weeks now he has been standing still, becoming very samey. I've listened to it 3 times and it has grown on me more and more.

Joshua - although this was a good vocal, as usual with Joshua, and it showed how he is now the best at keeping the rhythm after Deandre's gone, and that he can handle machinegun lyrics, I'm worried for him that doing something very different from all his other performances might leave his fanbase behind. Will lovers of his gospel tones and his Las Vegas balladeering be moved enough to vote for him if he throws in a curve ball like this? High risk strategy, could even find himself in the bottom 3 because of it - not because it was a crap vocal, just too much of a shock to the fanbase system. Demonstrating this kind of versatility should be left to the duets, at which he reliably stands out as the best.

Elise - a kind of disappointing re-run of week 1 for me, starting off well, at a piano, lots of sublime control, then she stands up, oversings and it all falls to pieces, the control shot-to-pieces. I actually winced about 4 times. The problem with these competitions is they force everyone to sing as loud, as powerful and as high as they can, especially the girls, and if you don't you may not stand up to comparison with those whose voices are all about that. This girl's voice is all about sublime control in her lower range, and rapid little runs at the end of every lyric, but she loses all that when she tries to sing hard and high, making it sound untidy and rough, and pitch problems soon develop. I wish she would strip it right down and sing within her comfort zone instead of having to live up to this rock chic image just because every season Randy Jackson annoints a token blonde as "like Janis". Phillip and Colton have brought down the decibel levels this week and sounded better for it: this girl needs to do the same and fast, or she's out.

Hollie - another week where her image improved in leaps and bounds but her voice did not. Looked like a fairy princess in a jewellery box, one with Farran Fawcett hair, but sang like someone who'd emerged from a rich fool's birthday cake. She was so absorbed in hitting and sustaining the penultimate big note that it threw her and she ended on a bum note.
