I thought VWS sounded terrible. Ben reveals to their song coach that G4 were very worried about the song choice that Louis gave them at first.

Pennycandle, you're a proper music fan and I salute you. I think you're far too good for G4. Don't forget, there's more to being a great singer than having a good voice. G4 have the voices alright, but they fall down on taste, intelligence and the ability to sing from the heart - more's the pity.

.....well it`s some consolation to know that not one of the judges would save 2 to Go - Simon considers them "lounge bar" singers, and Louis would save his strongest group.

it would be interesting to know just how much time Simon does spend with his people during the week compared with Sharon and Louis. This was the 1st time he had heard Steve sing this song, you would think with his reputation riding on this he would have heard it earlier in the week, I know there are all the sidekicks and coaches and pr etc. that are the nuts and bolts, but at the end of the day........

......I very much doubt it Arty - think he has scraped the very bottom of the barrell with this one - anything next week can only get better (Mr Blobby excepted). I can`t imagine why they didn`t stand up to him and demand him to change the song - he`s only 5ft for heavens sake

I don't agree, Louis must have realised last week that sort of song does not work with G4, he either has some sort of agenda, or G4 were not in the bottom three last week but in the top 2 or 3, remember they are not called out in the order of voting.
