Sheesh it's like some awful tragedy has happened. It's only someone getting eliminated and if it's not them it's you.

Theme is songs from this decade, so that's just from a couple of years then.
At least it's current.

Skylar up first. Playing the guitar.

Ryan in grey suit....Wednesday night to them, and nearly weekend for us.

Top 7 parade, they look cool too.
going to be a lonnnnnng evening....

Home visit for Skylar...her rehearsal had a harsh sound at one point..

Jimmy re Skylar..she is believable, she is a pro...other guy said what?!

Sound louder than she is....she's a bit wooden re the feelings of those lyrics.....

so, what did you think?

Come to think of it, could give her a 6, as I didn't find it exciting..sitting here glum and she hasn't unglummed me......

Even though the song was cliche-central for Skylar, it was enjoyable and she never hits a duff note.

Back to Skylar delivering the goods...it's true she said, pointing it out with finger.

Colton.....Jimmy is right it would startle one to suddenly hear the chorus, and that piano needs polishing.

he's not bad at all with that song, shows feeling.

Jimmy thinks it's Colton vs Phillip, in terms of who they are competing against.
To be honest, apart from obviously getting the squeeing teenage girl vote, I don't find them that similar.

If I had to choose though, I prefer Colton.
I currently have the knives out for Phillip as I find him very dull and predictable, his voice doesn't seem natural either.

Phillip currently fits the WGWG (white guy with guitar) typical winner mould we've had for the last few years, whereas Colton is slightly different I guess, being a WGWP (white guy with piano). bwahaha

Phillip and Elise to duet after the break....wonder why...

Back to teaming up...

Elise and Phillip....wish Phillip wasn't too laid back...

Bit low start from Phillip...Elise comes vocal strength....unsure re this song for them. Doesn't show Phillip in a different light...just mo

7/10

Yep, agree with Randy 100%, Elise was stronger, whereas Philip just hung around.

Think these are well suited together.
Phillip's tone was actually quite nice at the start.

A nice catchy song always helps too.

Welcome Winsome

Jessica Sanchez aka Bebe Chez up next.
Wow this is a weird song, when they called it 'Stuttering' they really meant it.

Evening Windsome, nice to see ya So what do you think of what you've heard so far?

San Diego Jessica....can we steal her says Jimmy, no you can't. I like Jimmy and his comments.

Piano back into play as she sings by it

Gives song plenty of feeling, very nice performance

I thought Skylar chose a better song for her voice this week, but still came across as a little on the shouty side.
Colton surprised me, I liked his performance, he sang the song and made a good job of it.
Elise was much better in the duet than Philip.
Jessica, lovely lovely voice, would have preferred the song to be sung without all the licks/ riffs, whatever they call them, but I think it's a style that is loved in America, so she is giving them what they will enjoy. Definitely in the final for me

Joshua knows how to put on a show, really great energy.
Possibly the one that's caught my attention the most so far tonight.

Colton and Skylar duet.....they aren't dating says Colton, Skylar says different....

She sounds better in the solo part, but tends to hog the duet.

beautiful was it Steven....I've heard better.
