Between me and my Mum we spend about £45, can be more or less some weeks. So roughly £20-30 each on average I would have thought.

I spend about a £85 a week on food for three of us. This does not include meals out or booze or food at work which can all add up.

Similar to LaceyLouelle3, there are two of us and we spent about £40 per week on average. This includes our lunches (we take leftovers), but not any extras we might buy while out and about or dinners out.

I would guess around £50 a week for 2 of us. I try and buy economically, but I am fussy and like brands, so I buy when things are on offer and shove them in the freezer.
I do a BIG shop once a month which costs about £240, but that includes booze and cleaning stuff. But every couple of days I nip to the nearest store and buy milk, bread, salad and fruit. Plus, if you go around 4:30pm they reduce a lot of their meat and fresh pies - so again, I stock up. |

2 of us and we probably spend about £100 a week in Sainsbury's - that does include some beer and wine as well as household products etc.
We've a big freezer so quite often we'll buy the reduced for quick sale meats and fish etc and freeze them as soon as we get them home so although we might spend £100 we don't get through it all that week kind of thing. |

About £100 for my husband and I - including cleaning products - my daughter still lives with us but she's not always home due to her work so she picks up something she fancies at times too and chocolates etc which her & my husband devour.

Generally around 60-70 a week for food, toiletries, cleaning products etc, taking leftovers for lunch so don't often have to buy anything extra during the week. There's 2 of us and 2 cats but we usually have at least 6 people for dinner on 2 evevings at the weekend.

I generally do a monthly shop at arond £150 and then probably a top-up of, say £20 a week. I depends on the time of year as in the summer we're almost self sufficient from the allotment.

Just on food and drink, excluding general grocery shopping and takeaways (about once a fortnight) about £50 a week for two adults and two kids. It would be less but £20 a week is on school lunch for the kids and if we send them in with packed lunch they are rubbish at eating it, yet have no problems polishing off school dinner.
We don't really drink, we are mainly vegetarian at home and don't snack much. Plus my mrs runs a catering business so a lot of time we eat home prepared food so that probably saves a bit as well. |
